Doujin circle Maikaze will be selling the first DVD episode of the Touhou Anime Project at the Comiket 75 convention in Tokyo at the end of this month.
The limited edition package contains a soundtrack CD, a full-colour art collection, postcards, and others in a deluxe box.

The cast is also a very strong one:

Well, just wanted to point out that this anime is out and available.
A joint collab between Strike-subs and Ayako.

Aroduc says series is unsustainable. Half an hour of talking heads with no point, no flashes, and no high-powered explosions like we're used to with Touhou. And usually, Aroduc's taste fits right in with mine, so we generally end up agreeing. I might check this out once still though, since the voice cast is way too [tornado fang]ing epic to pass up.

I had no complaints honestly.

The fighting was good, but brief, which honestly considering how well it was done for a FAN project, it was impressive.

I was more interested in the visuals and how closely the characters will feel like Touhou selves. So far, I can say they're doing really well. Considering the shows you watch, DZ, talking over action shouldn't be a problem for you. >_>
