You do know that Circuit City is having crazy sales this week. Credit is your friend if treated with respect.
get equipped with financial problems. Credit sucks, especially when one is in big debt already. plus, I dont have a credit card. im waiting for the holidays to get christmas money. to use with my already saved money.

also, if the PS2 an Wii versions dont run on the Hedgehog Engine,... What do they run on? :\

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

So I watched all the videos for the Wii version and it seems like Empire City got cut out.  What else did?  (Aside form apprently the appearances of Knuckles and Shadow but who cares about Shadow)

OH, come ON! Knuckles and [tornado fang]ing Shadow are in this game?

SubZero

^ Don't listen to him. It's a silly rumor that's been circling around, but I can already confirm that neither Shadow nor Knuckles exist in either the Wii/PS2 or 360/PS3 versions of this game.

Flame

shadow was too busy in Shadow the hedgehog 2. fighting off Dark gaia's mnions. with a shotgun. 8D lol, that would be awesome.

Police Girl

I have played the Wii version, I don't enjoy the Daytime stages very much due to the changed level design (Too flat, and the controls are too loose.) But the Nightime stages are much more fun in my opinion, I am hoping that I can get a PS3/360 for Christmas so I can get the PS3/360 Version.

That sucks dude. And the PS2 version runs on the Dimps engine. :V

I dont mind the PS2/Wii Day stages arnt that bad. I hate the fatc that they got rid of that giant red dragon in the china stage, but whatcha gonna do. its still fun. the  daytime stages are very remenicent of SA2. heck, the Holska Werehog boss is very, VERY remenicent of Biolizard 2. and its probably no conincidence. either. >_> the Music is kickass. but the Wewrehog levels make me RRRRRRAAAGGE sometimes. theres only so many times I can "tightrope" walk along a narrow bridge with no sides without going nuts. also, the werehog levels have this obsession with bottomless falls, and grapping onto enemies to get across some pit.
anyway, I dislike how theres 3 or 4 Werehog acts yet only 1 or 2 Day acts, plus little mini challenges. Im probably gonna get the 360 arcade just for the real version. but for what its worth, the PS2 and Wii versions are pretty good in their own right.

BTW, could someone convert the ST to something an MP3 player can use? :P I dont think MP3 players support AD X. >__>

This game has driven me into multiple headaches from over-enjoyment. Screw taking breaks. The levels get really intense once Chun-Nan and Shamar hit.

Jericho

It really is waaaay above average, but a lot of people aren't giving it a chance, which is sad.

STM

People don't want to be wrong and want to believe the "Sonic Cycle" is still valid. I was hearing some people talk about Screw Attack's "review." It sounds less like a professional review and more like one of the most elaborate trolls to get hits on their site. They bashed the good parts of the games and praised the weak parts... all based off playing the first two-three levels in the game.

I can assure people, though, the Werehog becomes more and more great as you unlock more combos along with dash attacks. Sonic's stages get more and more intense as you go along, helped along by upgrading Sonic's speed. At the beginning of the game, Apotos - Windmill Village, I was getting speed bonuses for around 300-500. At a level 8 speed rating right now, I'm getting speed bonuses of 3,000+ and Sonic moves like a blur... and there's still three more levels before Sonic hits max speed.

Solar

So it's kinda like Secret Rings all over again with people complaining because they didn't bother to level up?

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

STM

More like they didn't even play the game. It's like playing Emerald Hill Zone in Sonic 2 and writing off the rest of the game for not being challenging or watching the first 20 minutes of movie and deeming it garbage because nothing is happening. Basically, making assumptions off only one level.

Jericho

I just pray SEGA doesn't look at the professional reviews and decide to re-invent the wheel with subpar results. The current guy in charge of things (forgot his name, sorry!) seems to have a good grasp of it all. I wouldn't mind another game or two from him in the future as it looks like he can only go up from this point.

Protoman Blues

I just wish I had more time to play it.  As I said, even though I still would rather play Hedgehog than Werehog, in terms of 3-D Adventuring, the Werehog parts are actually pretty fun.  Honestly, I must say, Sonic Unleashed is a very well put together game, which I've enjoyed playing.

Flame

The affinity that the werehog segments have with bottomless pitfalls and tightrope walking drives me nuts. other than that though, its pretty solid. the redesigned stages arnt that badly redesigned. Infact, the China stage was very nicely redone. Eggman seems to have gone back to the ol' "upgrade the same battle machine and give it a different name" thing he did in Sonic Heroes, as you fight the same damn beetle body twice. hmm... beaten Daytime Eggmanland and im up to the Eggmanland Boiler room nighttime level. (act 5 of the werehog I believe) the music for Eggmanland is pretty badass.
also, I just discovered that you can charge up Sonics Spindash while the counter is counting the "3, 2, 1 Go!" thing. I still havnt found a use for it though. I usually just end up sprawled on the ground when I try spin dashing from the get go.

Im probably going to get a 360 to experience the better version. thankfully Christmas is right around the corner. hopefully ill be able to  get some dough to buy it. and if not, well... I could always sell my body... a few games. (though im probably not gonna make much off of DBZ Sagas...) hm... Should I save up more and buy the default XB360, or be cheap and buy the "Arcade" offering and a Memory card? I dont care about HD space since all i really want it for is gaming. ill probably only buy like, what, sonic and Megaman games for it?
what say all you?

Well, if you're interested, I saw that Walmart is having a sale where you get a 360 Arcade Version + Guitar Hero 3 (Game & Guitar) for $199 on Black Friday!

Flame

all the stores have the arcade bundle. its the newest thing. its just like the "Core" box, but with a wireless controller and some arcade games. (minus the guitar hero) plus theres no walmart anywhere remotely near me.
Im gonna get Sonic '06 and unleashed for the 360, and thats about it untilll the next game that catches my fancy. im trying to decide wich would be the better choice. splurge on a default 360, or save money and get the arcade...

Fixed. Also, if you do get a 360, make sure you get Prince of Persia. [/viral marketing]

Gaia

I say, I recently got the PS2 version, and I say, it's fun. (It feels like Sonic Advance 2 in the day stages) I'm clearing the main game first then going through the missions and improving on the rank. overall, I'm B ranked.  -u-'

I almost forgot, I just fixed the first continent. moving on.

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

From the reactions and reviews on this thread, I think I may actually give this game as well as Secret Rings a shot!

VirusChris

I finished the game today and the Final Boss Battles were epic! I loved the music too, it was super awesome! SEGA sure knows how to make great music and CGI, too bad their listening skills needs work.

Overall I enjoyed the game! 8)

Oh, I think their listening skills are working fine... if not, a little too good...
