For those who care:

FF13 is around 90% complete (PS3) and might hit Europe AND America in spring 2010. Xbox Version is around 70% complete.
The game won't feature multiple languages, but instead it will be fully lip synched.

Damn, looks like I need to hustle and get a PS3 or kickass laptop soon. This and Bayonetta make an argument for PS3, but having it on PC = fun with graphics settings. Decisions, decisions...

It's priced at ¥8800 (¥9240 with tax), which works out to be USD$95 (USD$100). So, yeah, expensive.

.....  -AC
This price tag better be worth it (However, in the states it would cost around 20 - 40 dollars, about the average game price), I know your stunt Squeenix. And your fancy pre-order bonus? nah. About as dissapointing as Dissadia's pre-order calendar bonus.

I'll just wait for the gamer's guide to come out like every FF game had before it, and see if I can beat it WITH the guide, then do it all from memory afterwards, just for a challenge.

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

I think it would be a bigger challenge to do it without a guide.

It depends on how badly you need a new PC and how much you want awesome games like Bayonetta, MGS4 and such

My only hope for this is that they've got a lot of sidequests and secret bosses.

You wouldn't know how fun it was to explore the world of FFXII by yourself then?

My only hope for this is that they've got a lot of sidequests and secret bosses.

FFX had LOADS of sidequests, FF12 had so much you couldn't possibly find them all without a guide, and FFXI is one big sidequest.

FF13 will have plenty.

That's right, that's why Final fantasy is one of my favorite franchise. I don't care what other people said about it!

Oh and rideable chocobo please.  :D

...I'm seriously can't see the main character of versus riding a chocobo, unless it's a slick black chocobo.

The reason I mentioned him was because Versus is supposed to have the old world map system again. Complete with vehicles like airships. So having rideable chocobos doesn't seem so far off.

I was disappointed that I couldn't ride the Daytona Hardy on the world map:
