Again, games that began with paper-thin plots (if any at all) are justified to do almost whatever they wish to the storyline. Games that began with solid, very well-told stories aren't as open to external influence like that, because you risk [tornado fang]ing up the entire plotline, and thus, the fanbase.

You evidently haven't played RE3. As far as my understanding of the many viruses in the RE world works, once you've been infected, if you survive the infection, you're immune to it from that point on. Remember that she DID get infected halfway through Nemesis and Carlos got the cure/vaccine for her and immunized her? Dying by infection is the LEAST likely of all the choices... Unless even Capcom themselves can't get their goddamn facts straight.

Whaat, of course i played it !, but for me it was about Nemesis being badass chassing me and triying to kill me, forgive me for not paying attention to minor details, like characters and what happens to them.

I don´t pretend to troll anyone, Resident evil is amazing..but it's not Shakespeare people. Don´t over analize it, it's like a B-movie and that's why people loves it, grab a gun, kill zombies and the ocassional awessome boss.

Even so, in Resident Evil 2(movie) Jill said that his partner Leon was dead. But whatever, the movie plot doesn't have to do anything with the games.

Jill better damn well be a kickass boss then. That said, we'll see just how it plays out. I wouldn't be surprised if she was acting as a double agent, but on the other hand, from a game designer's point of view, they're probably trying to get an emotional response, which means they might just make her completely bad. My my, what a response they'll get.

Remember guys, the more people [sonic slicer] about a decision made, the more it shows people cared. In the end, it'll work out in Capcom's favour either way.
