Alright, let's try this.

The Digi Destined (We can cycle through each group if you want) vs Roll, Megaman, Gutsman, Bass, Protoman and Glyde.

Digidestined. Omnimon and Imperialdramon Paladin mode, if that's how it's called.

Really bad matchup.  

Basically, if you are doing cooperation (Digiteam vs EXEteam), some of the 'destined will NOT get along very well, on the other hand they are fighting against warriors with major teamwork skills. And considering how each fighter "matured" upon one series, it's not gonna end well for both sides (since the EXE side can fight just as well by themselves, with only half the power).

Fireman vs Agumon & Tai on the other hand, they can pretty much defeat Mr. First Boss with Agumon's "WarGreymon" Mega form, and the fusion of Omnimon by Wargreymon and MetalGarurumon. So basically, the number ONE rule when doing a "VS" is.. Never pair a main character against a main character EVER, unless you thought well enough about one's own strengths and weaknesses.

That said, how in the steaming hell would the EXE team fight an army of 'Destined (if I remember, there were a [parasitic bomb]-ton of them after the "Our War Game" incident)?!

If "one by season", that'd still equal the "Our War Game" OVA from Digimon Adventure 01. Plus I think they mentioned the American tamers just once in an episode if I remember.

If you go by Adventure 02, then one need only look at the 3-part "Digimon World Tour" episode where it showed there were Digidestined all over the world. Australia, Mexico, NYC, everywhere.

But if you mean one team, that's still 8 against 6.

Quit making things difficult here. You are obviously trying to do anime vs anime because that's what you only saw of EXE. I doubt you never played the games.
