The show revolves around 2 angels (for real) named Panty and Stocking (no joke) that were kicked out of heaven for bad behavior under the pretext of ghost hunting. The show will premiere on October 1st and will air on numerous TV stations in Japan.

Originally mistaken for the show that is to be based on the Dantalian no Shoka light novel, which is set in 20th century Britain, it was later clarified that these are, in fact, two different shows. Panty and Stocking will be directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, famous for Gurren Lagann and Dead Leaves, with character designs by Atsushi Nishigori, who also did the designs in Gurren Lagann.

It looks like one of those Cartoon Network cartoons that use really dark outlines (most are flash based). The thing is, this is animated like 100 times better.

One look and it's gonna be a parody with the random Ghostbuster wannabe and the Gib lookalike (most people watch Invader Zim just for that character, actually) from the promo of Panty and Stocking.

CN is a distant shadow of its former self. The days of Dexter's Lab and Samurai Jack are long gone.

It's stupid when awful shows like Johnny Test are in their 9th season already, while good shows get so little attention.
