So, I recently found out that there was a Princess Maker 5 (FIVE!) on the PS2.  I had only played Princess Maker 2 -- which was [tornado fang]ing badass, thank you very much -- so I could only imagine how it had evolved.  Could it have 3D graphics?  3D Platforming?  I googled it to find out, and to my surprise...

It was EXACTLY the same [parasitic bomb] as before.  Actually, no, it was way worse.  My dreams were crushed right then and there.

Additonally, that princess maker anime, "Petit Princess Yucie" or whatever, is [tornado fang]ing hilarious (I watched some of it on yt).

She is adopted.  Not blood related, but still pretty awkward to explain to the neighbors.

You are a wondering swordsman who happens to stumble across a war between
a kingdom of peace-loving humans and an undead army led by the Ruler of The
Underworld. The war is going in the undead army's favour so you help by
defeating the leader (the Ruler) in one-on-one combat. The King and Queen
thank you and offer to give you refuge for a while. They even PAY you to stay
with them (count me in!)

Anyway, one night, you see a shooting star and you go to investigate. You
find a sphere of light and inside lies a young girl. You speak to the
guardian deity (spirit) -- I'll detail this later and she/he hands the girl
over to you. Your job is to raise the girl from the age of 10 to the age of
18, when she will become an adult and leave the house. The girl is given to
you at the age of 9, but you only get control when she is at the age of 10.

It's a parenting sim. Which you can then get your daughter to marry your arch nemesis, the devil. Or make her a high class prostitute or marry the pedo king.

I really wouldn't classify it as an ecchi game.  There's a little on the side, but it's pretty tame.  I actually can't even remember anything bad other than that see-through outfit you had to hack to get.  Maybe the prostitute endings had some boob.

There was also one boob in the swimming scene in the re-release, along with (maybe) the godess'.

I remember years ago when my sister played a Princess Maker game, and it was in some Asian language, she didn't know how to play it, but then she was hitting random keys on the keyboard to find out what to do. And she hit some key that disabled a sprite layer, and it revealed the princess completely naked right down to the naughty parts.

It was funny.
