No Party City? Most costume stores have enough stuff to make a simple costume. I think. Havent been to many stores outside of Party city since I have one that i can get too in a few minutes by bus.

Well, there IS that one place where they closed the ToysRus that was there. every year they open the place as a Halloween store for costumes and stuff. bought the wig and gloves for the Tenchou costume there.

Actually I think there is a Party city in the town my mom and I usually don't go to but the last time I went there it was kinda hard to find a costume.  Not to mention expensive.  Plus you know how slutty teenager costumes can be.

so I went to party city to check out one or two of the costumes so I can maybe modify them.

They both sucked. Of course I should have expected as much from a run of the mill costume like that, I couldnt possibly modify them because I might as well make my own. either a vake vest, or a vest with a fake back and attatche sleves and stuff, yeah. I have a black dress shirt, ill add some ruffles to that, and a jabot, I have some boots, wear those... steal my Mom's black leather gloves, and ill have the costume. Then maybe some makeup from CVS...

Hmm... To think, we'll have to wait 5 more years for Halloween to land on a weekend again. (I cound Friday in because come on, its right before the weekend, so theres no harm in staying up late!)

Not much of a halloween celebrater but in the spirits of things and so I "fit" in the category, I'll be going out as everyone's favorite defense attorney.  ;)
Now to get signs that come out of nowhere when I don't like certain types of candies. lol.

Pics eventually if my boyfriend gets the connector for his camera to upload them. But I was a white kitty; it was awesome!

Also, saw an epic Kratos cosplay. The guy put some serious thought into it (full body paint and such). It was quite stellar.

Oh, for anyone who is interested in the outcome of the Spook-Duck-Ular Costume Contest... we didn't win.  So, yeah, bugger that.

Though, for me, Halloween isn't over until the Thanksgiving turkey is on the table.  That phantom face I drew is still on our front door and I don't intend on taking it down anytime soon.
