Found out the JP PSN Store had Ape Escape.

Now... why haven't we gotten this yet?

Good question-there is a few games I've asked that about honestly.

Right now, that's the big red flag since all the other classics I was complaining about did eventually show up (The Megaman games save Legends 1, 2 and X6, Pac-Man World, Namco Museum)

Maybe its a voice acting issue? Wouldn't be the first time something like that has stopped something from appearing.

Capcom Bundle on Humble.

get Strider, Resident Evil Revelations 2 Episode 1, Lost Planet 3 and Bionic Commando Rearmed for $1, beat the average to get RE: Revelations 1, RE5, Donte Might scream '[tornado fang] YOU', and the promise of more games.

$15 gets you Ultra Street Fighter IV and some RE5 DLC.

Strider for $1 is a darn steal. Really good metroidvania.

Steam is also having a stealth game sale for 3 days which includes a bunch of Ubi titles among actual stealth games.

Play FC4. Torrent if you like.
I say this because FC3 would put a bad taste in your mouth with its horrible plot, and FC2's stealth mechanics are kind of bad until early-mid game and it's really brutal on the difficulty scale.

But FC4 is easily the best stealth game of last year mate.

Yeah but FC3 also has the entire second half.
And the entire cast of protagonists.

At least both Ajay and Pagan Min were equally likable throughout the entire game.

Stop telling people to buy these things, what's wrong with you. Each time you buy from them, you encourage mass douchebaggery.

Some freebies being given out.

Vertiginous Golf (Steam), free for a day:

Anomaly Warzone Earth (DRM-free for Windows, Mac, Linux; Steam key included), unknown time of being free (to keep), requires sign-up:

Also traded a game for Rune Classic for Steam at IndieGala. Now I have a good reason to buy it on GOG.com.

So Steam is throwing a sale in the spirit of Halloween with a bunch of games going cheap between yesterday and November 1st. The reason for the "sort of" in the post title, at the risk of sounding ungrateful or something, is because they're throwing games that aren't remotely horror-related. I mean you got your Resident Evils, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s., Killing Floor, Spooky Animatronics at a Suck E. Cheese series, Sexy Dhampir Lady's Bloody Adventures, Soul Reavers and whatnot, but then there's stuff that's not horror-related like Croixleur Sigma, Raiden III, A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda, then there's missed opportunities like the Doom (especially Doom 3 since that one has some survival horror elements) games not going cheap.

The Humble Store Sale might have more of the horror games you crave though not sure if Surgeon Simulation counts gore aside.  And Goat Simulator since why not.  Plus Typing of the Dead.

EDIT: I have no idea why the link looks weird but just clicking it works all the same so there's not really a point to fixing it.

Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

R.I.P. Desura. It was fun getting a few good games DRM-free from you. Time to make back-up of my games.
Except for Banzai Pecan.
