Because A and B are in a position that doesn't really work so well with the four button layout.

Y and B feel better but there's no control remapping.

Humble Bundle 13 reared its head today. Only three games if you don't beat the average (OlliOlli, Tower of Guns and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet) plus one free game (Teleglitch: Die More Edition)

Beating the average is an interesting case this time though, you get the second Amnesia game, Jazzpunk, and four copies of Risk of Rain (a sidescrolling Rougelike, so permadeaths.) with more games on their way next tuesday.

$12 gets you Shadowrun Returns as well.

Oh, no, someone said the S-Word

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

Hey look Humble Bundle put up their weekly sale just in time for Halloween I wonder what gam-

Quote
Trick or treat . . . or BUNDLE! Because a night of trick or treating usually only brings in candy (or if you’re really unlucky, boxes of raisins), we’ve got some games to add to the mix. Pay what you want for Knock-Knock (making its DRM-free debut), Home, and Vertical Drop Heroes HD (with a new, special Halloween mode!). Beat the average price, and you also get Our Darker Purpose, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and Betrayer. Pay more than $15, and you get all the games listed above plus Among the Sleep. And if you want to eat candy while you play, go ahead — we won't stop you!

Oh...

The other games looked interesting enough. My rule with humble bundles is not to buy them if they are related to something I don't like in the least (Pewdiepie) or if the content is stuff I already own. I don't own any of these games and while I also don't want to own FnaF, the other games beat it out 5:1.

SO I BOUGHT IT.

Not gonna validate it with steam though. :I

Doublepost, but the (formerly) PS3-Exclusive Sega RPG Valkyria Chronicles is coming to Steam on November 11th at a price point of $20.

Its confirmed to not be a [parasitic bomb] port, with 1080 and 720p support as well as 60fps and whatnot.

Sega's releasing those 3D Classics that they said we wouldn't get out in the West.

So look forward to Afterburner II, Outrun, Two different Fantasy Zones, and Thunder Blade!

(We're probably still not getting the physical compilation though, so no ports of Space Harrier 3D or Outrun 3D from the Master System and no improved Space Harrier.)

OH yeah, and we're getting them one at a time, one a month. And Shinobi 3's been out already, i'm a [tornado fang]ing retard who didn't know that, sorry.

Somehow, Duck Hunt is coming to the virtual console.

Presumably using the Wiimote as the zapper.

Can't be a direct port because the original NES version doesn't work on LCDs due to the refresh rate. They'd have to basically rewrite the way the 'mote interacts with the game because they can't just emulate the zapper.

I imagine it'll have some fudging to get it to work. Not as if people really care how its done, just that they can play it without any issues.

Uhh... Super Mario Advance this week.

Japan looks like its getting G&WG3 soon (As a gift for people who buy ORAS and Smash 3DS.) Which is like the first 3DS VC game they've gotten in half a year.

Europe's got MM7 and X3 this week.

As for non-VC stuff, there's a demo of the 3DS Sonic Boom out, consensus is that its slow and not very good. But hey its a free demo so give it a go yourself.

Can I trade the game on with someone else for another game since I already have Metro 2033?

Its only DK: King of Swing though. I remember that being alright at least so there you go.

We're getting Mighty Final Fight and Mario Pinball Land next week.

By chance would anybody want some Sega Genesis games on Steam?

You can buy 48 of them (4 "Classics" bundles, Sonic 1-3K + Spinball, 3D Blast and Adventures of PuyoPuyo the Puzzle Game, and both Toejam & Earl games) for the low low price of $5 on Amazon (Today only I imagine).

Or you could emulate them for free.

The only games this won't get you are the ones from Pack 5 (Dynamite Headdy, Phantasy Star 2-4, Streets of Rage 3, etc.)
