Lucas Gilbertson to redub "Iris death scene."

Thought you guys might find this interesting, came from my interview with Lucas Gilbertson (Zero):

It was also revealed that Mr. Gilbertson is also hard at work at redubbing Iris' infamous death scene in MegaMan X4 (WHAT AM I FIGHTING FORRRR). So, in preparation, Mr. Gilbertson wants to know if you guys would like a serious redub or a funny redub. What will it be?

It's not the supposed X Collection redub, but it's something. I'd total kill to hear Gilbertson's interpretation of the scene in a very serious manner.

Nice, I say he should do 2 versions of it. I'd like to see how the scene would sound if it was truly serious, but I also want to see how he does a funny version of it.

I vote for serious, seeings how Lucas is "the" Zero to me.  And, on the X4 note, I'd also love to hear him do the "Get ready!" Rakuhouha yell.

I'm all for this. I hope he gets a decent voice actress to do Iris's voice for the clip. This would be the epitome of awesome in MegaMan voice acting.

Oh man, would that be orgasmic.  Lucas alone would warrant hacking into X4 PC (done that with the soundtrack in ages past; The Last - The Wish Punished works so well for Iris), but imagine Mark delivering, "It's time to get serious!", or "Feel it!" when firing a charged Twin Slasher.

Jeez, now I remember why I hated Inafune's guts after X Collection was released.

Is there any timetable for when he's planning on redubbing the scene? Seems kinda like a lot talk. Still, it's an easy crowd pleaser. I don't think too many fans would discourage him from performing as many scenes from as many games in as many ways as he wants.

I wonder how long before that kind of thing bleeds over into sound byte website shout outs like they do for radio stations. "This is Zero, and you're surfing RPM. Sounds like Maverick talk to me!"
