Ah, yes... Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.... that game.

- Boss battles doesn't require so much strategy, and that makes the things easier and less painful for the player.
- Devil Triggers lets Dante and Lucia transform into powerful demons, and that make things interesting.
- Climb walls and ceilings with high jumps. No problems for Dante.
- Sword and gun action. What's not awesome about that?
- Dante: "A false coin, for a false god."

The boss fights are a good thing? I remember killeng the fire minotaur thing from the other side of the field, while shooting him with the bazooka. And that thing hasn´t even noticed and kept attacking the air! Also infested chopper *rage*
Other than that the game actually looks better than DMC1 and 3. Playing as Lucia also adds some bonus points....It´s still not that of a great game

- The game taking place in Ivalice, the same world as in Final Fantasy Tactics, makes the game even more awesome as one could imagine.
- Random battles are non-existent in this game, and the Active Dimension Battle system gives you a lot of freedom to move around freely in battle while giving out commands when given the opportunity.
- The License Board is a new way for characters to gain new abilities.
- ♪ Kiss me good-bye, love’s memory, Follow your heart and find your destiny, Won’t shed a tear for love’s mortality, For you put the dream in my reality ♪

Hmm how about Wily Tower?

- OMG! Pick any weapon you like from Mega Man 1, 2 and 3, and use them anyway you like in the levels~
- A boss with double health (Hyperstorm H)? That's a first. ^^;
- Cool-looking high temperature effects in the boss fight with Fire Snakey.

I liked FF7... why am I alone on so many things?

I think most people just hate FFVII out of sheer butthurt. I haven't played it myself but I know I'm not going to let the hype affect my judgment on it. lmao.

I was hyped on the game before playing. I saw art of it, and played Kingdom Hearts and thought Cloud was really cool, etc, etc, etc. Had NO judgement affect me, paid a bundle for it, loaded it up on my PS2, and when the horrible graphic models filled the screen, I looked dumbfounded at the screen and said "What the [tornado fang] is this?" I had played FF8 and 9 before, so I didn't expect this one to be much worse in the graphics department. Boy was I wrong. But I decided to give it a shot and kept playing.

Incredibly lame story that got lamer and lamer with time. Every single damn anime stereotype coupled with the same old RPG gameplay and the most unlikeable characters of all time. When I finished this heap of crap, I breathed a sigh of relief. NEVER AGAIN. NEVER. AGAIN.


...and I had to play it again a year ago or so due to losing a bet. BUT NEVER AGAIN AGAIN.

Y'see, this is exactly what I'm getting at. People's expectations are set way too high for this game, even though it was born in the time during the very awkward transition from 2D to 3D. So it's to be expected that this game has aged poorly.
