Yknow, I'll be honest, I dont really like the new Plasma Shot. It just looks like a bigger version of his X1 charge shot... I know why you changed it, but it just doesnt seem to work as well as the old one. :P The rest of the vid was sweet though.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Yeah, I did think it was going to be much bigger.


Oh, I just thought of a new question: Is there going to be any sort of hotswapping between X/Zero? That was an awful lot of fun in Xtreme 2, how you could just jab select and instantly change playstyle completely as the situation demanded, though you had to work for it.

And another thing: the damage shield seems to be much shorter than usual, X is vulnerable again after like half a second rather than 1.5 or whatever it is in X1-3.

Looks slick. I like the counter move, but I hope it doesn't become unbalanced when people get use to using it.

I have this coded but not quite sure if I'll add it or how you'll get it.

Half a second is good enough time to get out of harms way no need for it to be longer.

I don't get why does this matter. There is enough time for you to recover and get out of whatever hit you.


PS: I'm not making an exact copy of MMX engine, otherwise I would be using SNES resolution, X-X3 HUD setup and many other small details I adapted for balance and/or to my liking.

Try playing Mega Man X1 with only 20 invincibility frames. I just personally think the D. Barrier time length should decrease or increase based on the selected difficulty.
Maybe even make it only last 5 frames on the highest difficulty, so you can get combo'd if you aren't careful. As you can imagine, it adds difficulty. And if you have one more added difficulty level after S, then going overboard on the difficulty isn't a bad idea at all. Make it practically impossible if you like.

And I'll tell you right now. 5 frames of invincibility is HARD. But it's also really fun. So there. That's my idea. Make the hardest difficulty give X and Zero only 5 frames of D. Barrier.

I edited the japanese names of the weapons, adding the literal translation of lightning rod and names for the two attacks that were recently revealed, as well as the techniques used in old games that appear in this one.

You might have wanted to hold off on that. I'm not sure JKB is going to call it Heat Haze

...Especially since you get it from Neurohack Mosquito, rather than Warfare Milodon. And the Sphere Bombs were removed.
