I'm not really sure how that's something you're currently playing but okay.

I'm currently playing... Sly Cooper 1 HD. Or at least I will be once I get back to it.

That reminds me, I still have Thieves in Time, brand new, vacuum-sealed and in my shelf. Had it for several months now.

I really need to continue Sly 2.

Well, I was currently playing the Gameboy Advance SP, and the minuscule "library" of games I have for it (which is just one, MMBN3 Blue).

I have a real charger now though, so I guess I won't have a use for my redneck battery charger for a while. Good to have it around, though.

I used to play Halo online MP with friends, on that map. It's a hilariously fun map.

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

Been trudging through The Legend of Heroes VI: Trails in the Sky FC

It's been a good 4-6 hours and I'm still on only chapter 1. It's gonna be one of those kinda games then huh. Having a good time regardless. Combat is decent for turn-based (no random encounters!). The characters are pretty great, though I have to wonder why every female NPC, one eccentric bi fellow and even the probably the step-sis protagonist all really want the male lead's dick. I can infer there's something horrendous about his backstory that will likely reveal him to be much less the ideal person everyone shapes him out to be, but they're laying the expectations on a bit much.

Finished Fatal Frame for the first time. Took me 9 hours.

All things considered, it was pretty good. Not sure I feel motivated to replay this game soon, but if the sequels improve on the combat, I'll check them out. Right now I want to try Limbo and replay Eternal Darkness.

Pros
- Maybe the scariest game I've played? I don't even believe in ghosts, but the whole idea of evil spirits is scary to me, and the execution was top notch here. I hate the developers for throwing random ghosts when I least expected, but it's also freaking genius. I'll never forget the one random spirit that appeared in the rubble room a split second before I touched the save point. And even without the jump scares, I always felt that I was exploring a hostile environment thanks to the atmosphere and creepy setting

- I had way more supplies than I needed at the end. Throughout Night 3, I generally had 3 of each healing plus a mirror. I never wasted a Stone Mirror without knowing where to find another one. Ammo is not a problem either. I probably won't need to conserve and reset as often next time

- NG+ with new powers to buy and ghost list

- I didn't use any guides! The puzzles were interesting and easy to solve, despite reusing the JP codes and the stone arranging too much. The objectives when searching the mansion were very clear and convenient. I liked for example that you spend almost all of Night 3 in the garden/shrine area
Cons
- 9 hours in, the combat still wasn't enjoyable. I know the ghosts have a pattern, I just don't have any fun figuring them out when they spend 90% of the time invisible/teleporting around. And there are sooo many different types of ghosts... there's just no incentive for me. Landing a Zero Shot is satisfying and all, but I was always annoyed by the constant teleporting, and my timing in general was really poor

- Character moves too slow

- I don't mind the cheesy dialogue and cutscenes, but man, I wish I could play that story in a more recent game with better presentation
That's because the DSi doesn't stretch the pixels at all. The games look as good as on any DS Phat/lite system.

3DS mutilates the aspect ratio. And reverting the DS games to native resolution is terrible, as it becomes tiny.

Actually, I feel that DSi did stretch the sprites, but it was done in perfect ratio. Like a 200% on a 100% sprite.

3DS... It's like... Slanting.

I'd say its more like instead of multiplying by 2 it was multiplying by 1.5 or some other non exact ratio.

Which causes them to look muddled and ugly.

And very little (or no) filtering on the stretched DS screen on a 3DS.

You get used to it soon tho, but it's most noticeable on the life bar.

240 / 192 = 1.25

There's your problem.  It's a hardware limitation, given the difference in screen resolutions.  That being said, it's mainly "Mega Man Life Bars" that bug me.  The filtering is otherwise not that intrusive.  If you're used to looking at a pixel-perfect DS/Lite/i, then yeah, it's a little jarring.  But for coming back to a game you haven't played in a while, most of the time it's not that bad.

It was pretty fun, good platforming moments, some twin-sticks shooting action. It has co-op play too if anyone's interested.
