I playing Super Crate Box earlier, and hoo boy does this game like to kick me in the balls, and, as I fall, kicked me there again. :(

BioShock (Xbox 360)
For some reason, the v1.1 update causes some of the free DLC plasmids and tonics to be removed. So I started a new game on Easy without the patch and only with the DLC pack. I know this wasn't necessary, but I wanted my Lv.2 Force Push Sonic Boom.

System Shock 2 (PC)
I managed to get to the second area in the game, and think I'm about to enter the third area. Not sure which perk upgrade I should get that would help me in the long run. I should write a note to myself: stop making a game harder to artificially make it scarier. I can get by with just the wrench, but when I trip a security camera, that's when fan hits the shat for me. I hope the "Thief" route I'm going with my character is gonna help me with repairing my weapons later.

I'm also trying to play Splatterhouse 3 included in the 2010 remake, but jeez the difficulty can be fake at times. Stage 5 is already becoming "That One Level" with me. :|

What the [tornado fang] is wrong with naming Pokemon?
Nothin' at all. During my competitive battling days in D/P, I always nicknamed my mains. Heck, I even nicknamed the color palates I made for Virtual-ON: Oratorio Tangram since the console version gives you the option.

mainly just been doing some Killing Floor with friends. Also decided to give the first Borderlands another chance after how terrible my first experience was. The PC port is still overall horrendous and claustrophobic though. [tornado fang] FOV 90

I used to love Super Crate Box, but it was the only playable game on my iPod when I went broke, so I played it so much that I got sick of it. It's fun! ...or was fun.

Anyways, I'm compiling a list of games I have to play when I get my PS2 fixed and ready to play.

what

Playing the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F demo.

It is addictive as hell. Perhaps even near Theatrhythm's level of addictiveness.

I've finally started to hit A Link To The Past. I'm not sure what my problem was before. This game isn't as hard as I remember it. I've just defeated Agahnim and now I'm trying to figure out how to get ahold of the Moon Pearl. (I seriously couldn't find out how to access that thing when I went through the tower.)

been slowly trekking through more of Red Dead Redemption. i'm liking the game and all but it's just hard for me to even think about turning on the PS3 to play it or anything else on there lately

Playing a bit of Ascendancy, off DosBox. Can seem to live without it.

Getting back to Theatrhythm Final Fantasy.

I love watching the movie clips in theatre mode. Especially the FFX and FFIX movie clips; they're so beautiful.

Wednesday night, from 9 pm to 10:30 pm EST is Conclave Night.  If anyone wants to join Lizardon's party is welcome to do so.  We could use a ranger and a heal-stick. :P

Started Mark of the Ninja. What's viewable on-screen is much more restrictive than I expected for a 2D game. It really takes line of sight into fair account. Also No Kill runs are possible which is something I look for in every stealth game. I am thoroughly impressed so far.

A.R.E.S.
Fun little Megaman like shooter I got on steam.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Farcry 3: Blood Dragon

This is the kind of thing Duke Nukem Forever should have been.

This thing is [tornado fang]ing hilarious, and for what, under 20 bucks, It's well worth it. I [tornado fang]ing love this.

You also DO NOT need Far Cry 3 to buy this, it's stand alone.

It's a sad shame that a lot of people who play Catherine are slow perverts. I always find myself screaming at their Let's Plays, "You [tornado fang]ing idiot! No, don't 'undo' that, you retard! That was a good move! You do that and then you push that block and-- No! You're making it worse! OHMYFUCKINGGODGIVEMETHISGAMESOICANDOTHISMYSELFYOUFUCKINGWANKERS"

It's very easy to make mistakes, especially in puzzle games.

I'm doing a 30-game marathon as a sort of goodbye to my 20s. Must start and finish one game every day. About halfway through now.

Here's the list:

- Batman Returns (SNES) » Done!
- Bayonetta » Done!
- Castlevania: Rondo of Blood (Maria) » Done!
- Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
- Super Castlevania 4
- Contra III » Done!
- Demon's Souls (NG+++)
- Dark Souls » Done!
- Donkey Kong Country 2 » Done!
- The Legend of Zelda » Done!
- Mega Man 2 » Done!
- Mega Man 3
- Mega Man X » Done!
- Metroid Prime » Done!
- Metroid Prime 2
- Super Metroid
- Ninja Gaiden 2 (NES, first playthrough special!)
- Ninja Gaiden Sigma » Done!
- Resident Evil 2
- REmake » Done!
- Shinobi III
- Silent Hill
- Sonic 3 & Knuckles (Knuckles run)
- Streets of Rage 2 » Done!
- Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts (true ending)
- Super Mario Bros. 3 (warpless) » Done!
- Super Mario Galaxy (61 Stars) » Done!
- Super Mario World (warpless)
- Turtles in Time » Done!
- Vanquish » Done!

I tried to make the list as varied as possible, but I also couldn't put all these really long games that would take me 10 hours to beat. Most of them are pretty reasonable to finish in one night without rushing.

That 30-game marathon seems really fun.

But wow, isn't Demon's Souls extremely unforgiving and challenging?

Yeah. It's about as hard as Dark Souls, and I already did finish Dark Souls on this marathon.

Dark Souls took me 3 hours and 45 minutes, starting a new character. Demon's Souls will be new game+++, which means... all enemies deal like 3x damage. But I have all my crazy powerful weapons. Hopefully I can do it!

I hate watching Let's Plays of games that I played, as I scream at the idiot player who can't figure out the the right-click buttom in Which: Hearts and Minds is to CROUCH, not dance, you moron!  My god, stop roaming aimlessly and CROUCH to look in the bottom cupboards!  GO SEARCH THAT ROOM FOR THE GODDAMN KEY, YOU IDIOT!  This isn't that hard, stop wasting our time!

Anywho...

Last night's Conclave campaign ended with the site being slow and laggy, so I never got the party invite I was waiting for.  Remember, kids...  Lag kills.

I can understand mistakes. I can't understand a guy sitting there going "Durrrrrr, what do I do? This is too hard."

Finished Mark of the Ninja. Very solid game and definitely worthwhile with plenty replay value. The story though, oh my god. I wasn't really expecting anything too fancy but [parasitic bomb] just took a huge turn south at the end. I'm pretty upset by the big revelation and final choice it left me with. Haven't felt this torn since Bastion.
