I picked up the special package; so at least money well spent (the one with the OST).

Say, the "Mysterious Boy" turned out to be a girl named Elh.. but I knew the giveaway right from the get-go, I've seen this gag before. Though, Lewis (Let's just call that "thing" that) seems to be a cross between Zerkom and Eva-01 from my prespective. I've also done the sub-plot in which Red works for a transvestite.

Another thing, being the last of your clan always sucks. Ask Vegeta. A LOT of puns though, "Star Dogs" for one.

For the character Red himself I'd say he's a reverse-werewolf. He's an anthromorphic dog in certain cases goes into this superhuman form, and merges with the mecha. He's also your typical freelancer.. but he can p. much be Captain Obvious at times. The backup characters do give more of a MMZ/MML feel more or so how you got the cool guy, the babe, and the guy always ready for a fight, along with Elh's bro, who fills Phantom's role (but doesn't die.. yet, I'm waiting; game).

Bruno was more or so a "COME AT ME BRO!" villan. Seriously, he has quite a hand thing going on there.. dunno what it is, but he looks like he's ready to claw someone's face off most of the time.. but can't shake the feeling Lewis was meant to mirror Bruno. Eh. Air Robo GP's a good way to build rings quick, and the best one's for me the purple mech. Anyway, game's a-okay for now. Thoughts for round 2 will come later~

Back home, back to working on my Macross Zero Runthrough of ACE:R on extra hard.

I'm having a HELL of a time. ZERO is essentially a glass cannon, it can dish out damage but seems to get ganked WAYY too easily. I'm going to hold off on using for the most part since I would like to get some time in with Autumn-Four's unit, which is pretty damn beastly, don't know why I never used it before.

Super Mario TREE DEE LAND

On World 5, and loving the game so far. Curious how challenging the "Special" worlds will be, because the normal worlds, while fun, have been a breeze to go through. Even when getting all the Star medals.

Before that, got back to playing Cave Story (WiiWare version), Muramasa: The Demon Blade (finally finished the entire story, and got to see the alternate endings), Bayonetta, and Bunny Must Die (barely had a chance to these days though). I just introduced myself to a scarey little gem known as eversion (the freeware version)...

"Nobody likes to feel the burn!" - Subsequently, Elh on this matter

"Can hold no much longer!" - The inner demon in Red specifically

Finished Izuna: Legend of Unemployed Ninja. Well, almost. I mean, the story is over but there still is the Path of Trials. I'm not really sure if I'm able to clear all 99 floors One bad move and you're dead. At least the game is challenging!

Finished Izuna: Legend of Unemployed Ninja. Well, almost. I mean, the story is over but there still is the Path of Trials. I'm not really sure if I'm able to clear all 99 floors One bad move and you're dead. At least the game is challenging!

Enjoy the sequel, it's gonna get more aggressive than the first!

Worked around a good stradegy in Shining Force. Whenever by a lake, place two of your rangers behind the lake, so that way they could pick off anything that's across the lake in front of them, useful for this chapter.

Even though I made no mention of it, I played through and finished the Gundam SEED Destiny Route on ACE:R, currently playing through the Overman King Gainer route, SEED Route was a fun one, seeing as Destiny Gundam is way [tornado fang]ing overpowered.

Thief 2X: Shadows of the Metal Age

Certainly darker than the original Thief 2. Has plenty of violence and even low-polygon nudity. Pretty professional mod nonetheless. Manages to really capture the open-ended design of the official games, while also adding some new gimmicks/items that flow well with the existing formula. The story is also pretty decent and after watching some developer commentary, I really appreciate all the effort and detail that went into its placement alongside canon. Also I like how the menus are far more interesting than any of the originals.

We are the very beginning though, because he had to leave early yesterday, and I'm not going to play without him. : P

EDIT: And done. What a great game, took me almost a month to beat.

I originally thought I was supposed to run on the letters to get to the end. Was a little oblivious to the platform that could move.

Haven't played this since I lost my GBA and all of its games. Quite the nostalgiagasm now. If there's one thing I certainly haven't forgotten, it's the catchy music (♥ Rain Shower and Briefing). Maybe now since I bother to read all the messages and instructions, I'll unlock everything. Only ever unlocked Chef and a few Gallery things before.

You should try and get Boxing out of the way ASAP. Its the easiest way to gain stars (And unlock goodies).
If you have a Second GBA you get get the B Type stars out of the way too. (The same goes for Donkey Kong 3)
Its an easy 20 stars.

Yeah, already played Boxing a fair bit. Got only 5 Stars I think. Gets rather repetitive after a while.

Gonna try and get over 1000 in Chef again though.

5 is the max you can get for one type and difficulty, Modern and Classic get 10 each divided between Easy and Hard mode.
So with Boxing, depending on which one you played you just need to play the other variety. With the 2P mode its even easier as you only need to start the game 5 times to get the stars.
