Unfortunatly I have some sensitive tastes buds so I don't really like a lot of food, but when I got to college I want to learn how to cook and start by putting some cheese like motzerella and chedder on some veggies and start broadening my pallet because honestly even if I did like more food I think my mom might be a subpar cook since most of the dishes she makes are very simple or from a box.

I wasn't really forced into eating anything as a child. Although the fact that I can't smell causes me to not taste food all that much, so most of the time when I didn't like something it was because of how it felt in my mouth rather than how it tasted.

One food that I will never eat again is apple sauce. It just doesn't feel right in my mouth. It was like eating a non-flavored slush.

I can't understand how some can't eat vegetables or fruit. Thy're like, the best thing to eat.
I eat only that.

but my parents go ballistic when I don't eat meat (which i never do)

Me too, except I don't like something based on both. One more thing I must add is that I don't eat seafood unless it has been properly and thoroughly trimmed and cleaned. I also like my seafood LIFELESS, unlike all others of my kind.

Cooked is better... or at the very least washed and sanitized (for small salad shrimp, any bigger and cook the damn things)

The folks back at my motherland eat their sea creatures raw... and live. They do not slaughter them, nor do they cook them. *shudders* I want to say they're sick fucks, but that would imply that I'm being racist.

@Flash: I agree. Just ask my edible bros, Rare Steak, Sushi, and Sashimi (although I only had rare steak at a Peter Luger's, but does rare count as raw?).

Oh God raw carrot... I can't fathom how people like to eat it raw, same as people that love eating raw celery, urghh.
