[Alice in Entropy]

Alice felt like she was falling in slow motion; though for once, this was her own mind, not the power of the now-demolished pocketwatch. She felt each tumble down the staircase seperately, each one was pronounced and punctuated painfully.

Thump.

Thump.

Thud.

She fell to the bottom at last, battered, bruised and cut. She struggled to keep her eyes open and to raise her arms, but she was too weak to do it. At least, that's how she felt. She wept again and wondered how long it would take for Zephyr to put her out of her misery.

While ST was distracted, Talyn vanished from the room for a second, only to pop up behind Zephyr. "If you don't mind, spare the girl. Her pride is broken for now, but leave her alive so I can shatter the rest of her existence. And if you're wondering how I can see what you're doing, know that the darkness holds no secrets from me." She vanished again and went back to waiting in the shadows of the laboratory.

[Blackhook]

Zephyr was casually walking down the stairs.

"Stupid [sonic slicer], she thinks she all powerfull now."

He drew closer and closer

"I want to destroy my brother´s most cherished pupil, that way I can finnaly cut all ties with him."

He was now standing on the last two steps.

" I am loyal to Dracula, I am loyal to Dr. Frankenstein, I am loyal to my only friend. But this time I am not doing this for any of them"

He picked up Alice and held her neck. He was preparing to stab trough the girl with his clawed hand.

"I wonder what would cause you more pain. If I stabbed you the normal way or if you suddenly reallise that you have several holes in your body? Yeah, I´ll go with that. Before you realise it you will be dead but yet you will still be able to scream for one last time."

Everything around Zephyr stood still.  The vampire started his finishing blow....

[Alice in Entropy]

Alice could only stare blankly at the clawed hand as it made its way towards her chest.

She could do nothing. No muscle in her body would move. Time had stopped. Even if time was flowing as normal, she was too weak and ashamed of herself to defend herself from the killing blow.

This is it, she thought.

I.

Am.

Going.

To.

Die.

She braced herself for it. She waited for what felt like an eternity.

And yet, it never came.

It was then that she noticed something: she could move her fingers. Not very much, but she could twitch them and allow them to start bending themselves.

That couldn't be possible. Time had stopped, hadn't it?

She looked around. The world around her had become bleak and monochromatic, all of the colours had been washed out and faded into a pale grey hue. She forced her eyes to look downwards and noticed that Zephyr's claws had stopped. He hadn't halted his attack: his arm, his entire body, had just ceased to move.

It was then that she realised just what had happened.

With sheer determination and an iron-blue intention, she forced out one of her knives and pressed it through Zephyr's hand as time returned to normal.

Zephyr winced in pain when he noticed the knive in his hand. He dropped Alice and stepped away. He was shocked by what just happened, yet it seemed he couldn´t understand

"How, why, when? It was brief but you really used it! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE!"

He pulled out the knive and starred at Alice.

"Without the watch you shouldn´t be able to do it, yet you did. TELL ME HOW!"

The vampire freaked out for a moment. But then calmed down. He waited for an answer

[Alice in Entropy]

Alice herself was more than a little shocked at what had happened. From just behind her, a figure made its presence felt. A vaguely humanoid figure, glowing a dark purple colour, slowly rose from her shadow. Its features were difficult to make out, except for the large, warped-looking clock it had on its chest.

Alice stared long and hard at Zephyr. She quickly put the pieces together in her mind and realised just what had happened.

"I understand now. It wasn't just a coincidence that Mistral chose me and gave me that pocketwatch of his. Looks like, all this time, I've had this power inside of me. I just never had a chance to draw it out. Until now, that is."

She drew the knives Zephyr left for her and pointed them sharply at the vampire.

"Looks like we're on even footing now, you psychotic bastard. I guess I should thank you for giving me these knives and letting me harness this power for myself. But I'm not gonna do that. Not after what you did to us."

She wiped away a trickle of blood from her mouth and smiled.

"Are you ready?"

[Afro-Shroom]

(( Then I'll just wait for Afro and see if he minds me rolling dat d20 to save Dan.))

(*looks around* Ah here ya go Flame. *tosses Flame a d20*)

Dan thought to himself, Hm...what would Afro do in this scenario...

"Um...FLame, Dan. I know I'm supposed to try and suppress these powers but do I have to decline the offer of this young lady here?" Afro said as he places his arm around one of the prettier ghost dancers.

"...that's a guy Afro." Dan said with a facepalm.

"...So is that a yes or no?" *o3o*

Great...my last chance to think of something and I remember Afro's questionable taste with dancing partners. Dan thought to him self.

[Blackhook]

Zephyr bursted out in a laughter

"GA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HAHA-HA! Humans are so amusing, just a little sight of hope and they get all cocky! "

He pointed a clawed finger at her

"You really think that YOU are on equal footing with ME, Zephyr? Are you for real! I use those powers for years! You don´t even know for how long you can stop time. Maybe 1, 2, 3 seconds? That´s not enough!"

The vampire leaned backwards and started thinking.

(What I am trully worried about is that figure standing beside her, I cannot underestimate the situation. That sudden burst in her confidence will be her downfall...)

The vampire summoned a bunch of knives and launched them all at once at Alice.

[Alice in Entropy]

Alice, her energy regained along with her confidence in her abilites, rolled back to dodge the knives. She looked up to see a few of them flying towards her face, only to be blocked by the purple shadow being beside her.

She was still unsure exactly what it was, but for some reason, she felt safe and comfortable around it. Somehow, she felt it was a part of her in its own way.

"Don't laugh at me," she said dryly, rushing at Zephyr.

[Blackhook]

"Really? Tell me a reason why!"

Zephyr punched the ground which cracked open. The crack went in a straight line towwards Alice.

[Alice in Entropy]

Alice jumped over the crack and lander in front of Zephyr.

"Why? Three words."

She held her right hand out and snapped her fingers.

"Time, be still."

[Blackhook]

Everything around Alice stopped in its track. Even Zephyr wasn´t able to move.

[Flame]

(*looks around* Ah here ya go Flame. *tosses Flame a d20*)

Dan thought to himself, Hm...what would Afro do in this scenario...

Flame and Dan had dragged Afro out of the room into the adjoining hallway. Afro was pouting about not being able to score with that one chick.
"Afro, theyre ghosts." Flame and Dan reminded him.

"well I know, but... /o3o\ "

The mysterious hunter was walking around the hallways of the castle when he discovered a door. He was about to take the vial back out, but after thinking a moment, decided not to. Instead, he took a sword from a nearby suit of armor on the wall, and raising it high, sliced clean into the middle of the door, slicing in half the block of wood placed on the other side.

He then kicked the door open, and walked in. It seemed to be a laboratory. He guessed it must be Frankenstein's. It WAS a quite large lab.
he wandered around until he saw Dan on the operating table. Frankenstein was distracted in another dark corner of the lab, preparing some kind of machinery.

So he walked over to Dan, and tried to remove the restraints. Seeing he could not, he sighed, and took out the vial.

"God, I REALLY dont want to waste this.."

he waved the vial in front of the table, and much like the doors he used it on, the restraints responded by unlocking themselves.

"Dan! Quickly!" He gestured, whispering.

[Blackhook]

(..I thought Talyn told you that the door is blocked...by DARKNESS *hand gestures* )

[Alice in Entropy]

"You know, I've waited a long time for this," mused Alice, whipping out one of the knives Zephyr had given her. "I knew you were trouble from the start. But I didn't realise just how much of a sadistic freak you are until I found out that you're his brother. Well, he's dead. That's what you wanted, right?"

She pulled out more knives and threw them at Zephyr, letting them stop just short of him.

"He may be dead, but unfortunately for you, I'm not. And now that I finally have what it takes to finish you off, I'm going to make sure it counts. For screwing with my family, my friends and myself, I'm going to make sure you suffer."

She twirled the first knife around in her fingers, jammed it through Zephyr's heart and snapped her fingers. Time began to resume as normal. The floating knives flew into Zephyr's body.

"You think I'm just a weak little girl? Well, maybe I am. Maybe, ordinarily, I wouldn't be able to do something like this. Kill someone like this. Maybe I'm all talk and no action. But this time, it's different. This time, I have a reason to kill you. And you have a reason to die. Just one reason. And you know what that reason is, you sick freak?"

She glared at Zephyr and gave him a cold, vengeful smile.

"YOU PISSED ME OFF."

(Right, so what am I supposed to do to open the door?)
Alucard an Ammes finished off all the zombies just in time to see the demise of Zephyr.

[Afro-Shroom]

(..I thought Talyn told you that the door is blocked...by DARKNESS *hand gestures* )

(I think Flame meant his Character came in through a different door. Igor's secret entrance perhaps? )

[I lol'd, Blackhook. Yeah, I only blocked the door that Alucard and everyone tried entering through. If there's another entrance, it's open.

And I'm basically an embodiment of the power that drives the castle right now, being possessed by it...

Now to wait on Jestah...]

(Pardon as I flesh something out.)
A man shuffled throughout the halls, he was wearing a black robe and hat, hiding his face in magic. Skeleton soldiers tried to pounce on him, only to stop an explode.
The white, dead Hearts body came towards him, he levitated there for a second before falling limp.

"You pathetic little vampire, you felt that I was a pathetic slave? You could not even be a placeholder to that weakling Zephyr!" He started to beat the doll with his boots.

"Enough of this, you got what you deserved, Count Vindictus." He then quickly walked off, leaving the monsters to wonder of what that was.

[ST Jestah]

Luckily, ST managed to defend himself using his cape just in the last second of Talyn's attack.
"Phew, good thing this thing is harder than it looks."

The man stood up and stared at the darkness. His righ arm pointed towards it, as his cape began to wrap itself around his limb like a snake.
"I don't think the doctor will mind if I lighten up the room a bit."

ST's cape took the shape of a large crossbow, it's arrowhead burned in a blue blaze. He fired off the shot into a far away bookcase, setting it aflame and lighting up the room enough for him to take a quick glance at the rest of the area before him.

[Blackhook]

(I´m fine with that)

Suddenly Dr. Frankenstein dashed to the unknown hunter and punched him in the face. The punch was unbelievably strong, strong enough to sned the hunter flying across the lab, on his way he hit some machinery before hitting the wall.

"A scientist can tolerate only THAT much interventions. WHY DOESN´T ANYONE KNOCK ON THE DAMN DOOR! THE DOOR IS THERE FOR A REASON YOU KNOW!"

[Mirby]

"Ooh, clever!" Talyn said. "In that case, let's just quit this hit & run crap and do a plain old duel!" She dashed out from somewhere behind Jestah and stabbed him in the back.

[ST Jestah]

"GAAAH! My back!" ST's was struck deeply in his back, enough for the blade to reach his spine...
"Just kidding.~" or so it seemed.

The man's cape split in twain and revealed an impailed book on his back.
"You know Franky, you really should keep your room tidy." ST told the doctor wth a grin.

Quickly he searched inside his shirt while he kept his eyes at the shadowy demoness and thew out a vile of holywater.

[Black Mage J]

The man quickly removed his robes as he made his way to the castle walls. He was a young boy, a very young boy, around 14-16. He quickly jumps out before Death notices his presence.

"Finally out of that damn castle." He said with a sigh as he quickly runs as he hears the several screams of the sacrificed vampires.

[Mirby]

"GAAAH!!!" Talyn was hit by the holy water and seemed to vanish instantaneously...
