"Nothing like a loss in a tourney to put a big fat wrench into our plans, eh?" said Rankine, watching the tourney. He turned to the PET. "What happened with Spectro?"

"He lost, too. However, he was up against WombatMan, so I suppose we're safe in that regard. Although... might his netop know about the Cross? Should we try to seek him or her out? Y'know, perhaps to say 'If you win the tourney, don't use the chip.'"

"No. Not yet, at least." Rankine went over to the arena where WombatMan and ChainsawMan would be fighting to observe.

Plut was waiting for Chainsaw Man while Saturn was waiting for Wombat Man.
"Jupiter was immpresed by this Wombat man, I wonder if he can be used for Ms. Earth...?"
Thought Saturn to himself

Taylor walked over to the terminal and jacked WombatMan in.

"You must be Saturn. Let's make this a good fight!" WombatMan said.

[Sapphire Knight]

Sean went to the battle terminal and jacked Chainsawman in.

"Zehahaha! So, you're Pluto, eh? Kinda short... Don't wuss out on me!" Chainsawman said, revving his weapon, set to attack.

((I'm only assuming he's short due to Pluto being the smallest of the planets (I don't give a [parasitic bomb] that it's classified as a dwarf planet. It's still a [tornado fang]ing planet.).))

Saturn looked at Wombat Man. His hands were floating in front of him.
"Hmph you seem interesting and pretty strong. Don´t be too harsh on me, OK?"
He said with a fake smile on his face

Pluto starred at Chainsaw man
"What´s with that stupid laugh? I´m gonna delete you tree hugger!"

((If memory serves, Classic Pluto uses ice, which would make him an Aqua Navi. Chainsawman's an Elec Navi. Also, is Pluto.EXE catlike in appearance?))

"Who the hell are you callin' a tree-hugger, you pipsqueak hairball!?" Chainsawman snarled, his weapon now going full speed.

((Yes, Chainsawman's namesake revs on it's own accord when he's excited or angry.))

"You will becomea wonderful scratch statue after I´m done with you!"
Pluto dashed at his opponent with incredible speed.

Crux chortled. "Sounds like the trash talk is plentiful this time of year. By the way, whence comes these strange navis?"

"What, the independents?"

"Yeah."

"That's a good question."

((NOTE: If you missed the description of Chainsawman.EXE, he essenciall looks like Classic Swordman, only yellow-orange, with brick red patches, a chainsaw instead of a sword and on the left hand instead of the right.))

Chainsawman grinned, his namesake sparking. "Bad move!" He sneered, swinging horizontally.

[Yeah, I only have 8-Bit WombatMan... he's basically that...]
Taylor looked at the stats for her opponent. "Careful, WombatMan. This foe is a lot more powerful than he seems. I think... if it comes down to it, we may need to switch up modes."

"Yes, Talyn. I can tell that already," WombatMan growled. "Slice 'n' dice, snap 'n' trap!" The fight was on.

Rankine looked over at the other arena, where there was a girl and WombatMan, who was in the video panel.

"So this is the netop..."

Rankine began to watch the battle intently.

[Blackhook]

" You digital trash, as if that blunt silverware could hurt me! BREAK DASH!"
Pluto´s body was covered by a thick layer of ice, turning him into a small iceburg, which hit Chainsaw Man at full speed, his chainsaw showing no effect on the ice. The Navi was sent flying backwards. The iceburg fell to ground, the ice slowly broke apart freeing Pluto.
"How was that dependant Navi trash?"



Saturn´s left hand turned into a buster that started rapidly firing at Wombat Man

Chainsawman, who was sent back, grumbled as he got to his feet, a few cracks in his armor. "You obviously weren't watching my match. You can't hurt me while my armor's intact." He said, holding his chainsaw out to his side.

"RingZap3, Battle Chip in!" Sean said, slotting the chip in.

Chainsawman aimed at Pluto and fired the attack.

"Ice cube"
Three Ice cubes appeared in front of Pluto, one blocked the Zap ring, the cube got destroyed in the process.
"Why would I be watching a weakling´s fight? If I hadn´t eaten already then you would be my dinner dependable Navi trash!"
Pluto then picked up the two ice cubes each with one claw, then he threw them at Chainsaw Man

WombatMan narrowly avoided the shots with some fancy work. However, the more he moved, the faster he dodged. "What... what is this, Talyn?"

"I... I don't know... unless Dad installed another mode... let me see..." She accessed the changelog that was always added whenever her father worked on WombatMan. "Lessee... latest additions... ability to swap between modes. Modes are... power... defense... flight... speed... wait, speed? WombatMan, you have a Speed Mode now!"

"As if I couldn't tell! Anything else you can tell me?"

"Let's see..." She continued scanning the changelog. "Hmm... nothing of use right now. Keep fighting!"

"Roger!"

[ST Jestah]

"Ah, the fight's finally over. This analising was getting tiresome."  ScopeMan said to himself.

Aroki was paying no mind to the match, as he was focusing on something else during the whole match.

"Mr.Steel, jack me out so we can continue our research on the boy and the chip."

"Yeah, yeah. ust let me enjoy this scene for a few more seconds."

"...I'll never understand you're affinity, Mr.Steel." The navi said as he as being jacked out.

"Hey Kevin! WAKE UP! We haffa 'nother match!" Sheepa shouted at his operator.


The small boy woke up and stretched his arms out. He shook his head and jumped down from his seat. He went straight to arenatermnal, to meet wh his next oponent. He still looked a bittired, due to sleeping for so long.

"Hi mister. Are you the guy I'm gonna fight now? " He asked so innocently.

"You musn´t waste you time talking to that operator of yours while you are in the middle of a fight!"
Unbeknown to Wombat Man, Saturn´s right hand grew in size and while Wombat Man was dodging the blasts the big hand was waiting undeground until the feral Navi was close enouch and the Right hand emerged from the ground, capturing Wombat Man.

"Who said I was wasting time?" WombatMan used his razor-sharp claws and teeth to shred the hand. "If it weren't for my operator..." He leapt up into the air as a large golden sword appeared in his hands... "I wouldn't be as strong as I am!" His fur started to glow golden, and the sword started glowing bright white. WombatMan started to spin rapidly, sword point up. Taylor scanned in a GoldFist, and WombatMan barreled into Saturn with the force of a bullet train, and the devastating power of a tornado.

Wombat Man´s attack was blocked by Saturn´s Black hole ring
"Well you´ve got some potential, but that is still not enough"
Saturn´s right hand regenerated and hit Wombat Man in the face

Chainsawman swung his weapon horizontally to cut the ice cubes in half. "Is that all? With the bragging you do about how you're stronger because you're independent, I am yet to see the walk to match the talk, Fuzzball." He said, having gotten bored and, thus, calmed down.

[Mirby]

Unfortunately for Saturn, the attack narrowly missed. WombatMan's fur had turned from gold to sheer metal; speed mode was active now. A wild flurry of slashes assaulted Saturn, and when WombatMan reappeared, he was on the other side of the arena. Now his fur was glowing silver; defense mode.

"Any bugs yet?" Taylor asked.

"No, surprisingly. Looks like your dad actually fixed it, for the most part." He growled.

"Okay then. Let's just not combine modes; that might be bad."

"Got it." He waited for the attack.

[Blackhook]

Saturn lookd at his wounded body and grinned.
" Unlike my brothers I do not enjoy fighting, that´s why this battle ends here: SATURN PARKWAY!"
Everything around Saturn became static. Wombat Man didn´t move one inch. Saturn slowly approached him. The screen on Taylor´s  PET turned black
"Ms. Net op this is my ability to stop the flow of time in the net, too bad I cannot affect the outside world but atleast you can´t hear or see anything that is going on now"
He stopped in front of his opponent with a wide grin on his face.Saturns hands grabbed Wombat Man´s head. It looked like Saturn was scanning him.
"You will be useful for ms. Earth someday, with this you´ve become a chosen one"
The screen on Taylor´s PET finnaly turned back. Saturn was standing back at his old location.
"Ugh, the wounds you gave me are too much for me...I give up!"

Chainsawman swung his weapon horizontally to cut the ice cubes in half. "Is that all? With the bragging you do about how you're stronger because you're independent, I am yet to see the walk to match the talk, Fuzzball." He said, having gotten bored and, thus, calmed down.

"Bragging? I am just telling the truth. You dependant trash are nothing to us! BRING BACK PLUTO!"
The cut ice cubes sudenly formed some type of cage around Chainsaw Man. In the next minute Pluto was already standing on top of the cage.
"This is my ability to control ice type data at will. I´m going to crush you you bug frame!"
The walls of the cage were getting smaller and smaller.

Chainsawman sighed and swung his weapon a couple times, cutting apart the cage. "You are now starting to go from boring to annoying. If all you can do is throw ice at me, I would suggest giving up, as I can simply cut through it." He said, raising his chainsaw. "Ice is no match for a chainsaw."

[Mirby]

"That... that was easy..." WombatMan said. "I feel kinda funny though..."

"It's probably nothing. Although I could swear my screen went black for a short time there. Meh, jack out."

"Got it!" WombatMan jacked out back into the PET.
