wow. thats something.

edit, found this.

QuoteNEW YORK: Three new agreements have been signed by 4Kids Entertainment on the latest version of the animated series Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, with RTL2, Mediaset and Televix.

Germany's RTL2 has picked up all 90 episodes of the new Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's: Road to Destiny. In Italy, Mediaset also went for the series. Televix Entertainment took the show for distribution in Latin America.

This follow-up series is set in Domino City, once the playground to legendary duelist Yugi Muto. This sprawling metropolis has since been transformed into a futuristic society where dueling has kicked into high gear. Now the winners and losers aren’t just separated by skill and strength, but by speed. For five special duelists, it's now about survival, as they are the chosen "signers" who have been marked by destiny to uncover the secrets of the five dragons.

the Yugioh Wiki was even modified to include the info.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

The channel is called RTL II. They also aired the previous Yu-Gi-Oh! series (but like in the US, no fourth season of GX) and a whole lot of other anime, though they've been critized just as much because they cut a lot of stuff and use 4Kids material.

As I said, the episodes I saw so far had some mild edits, but so far nothing as excessive. For instance, during the VS screens, if a character's name was changed in the dub, that would be editted as well. As such, when there's the duel VS screen for Ushio and Ghost in episode 65, it got editted into Trudge. And you notice it was edited because the font is different.

And just to clarify, that channel aired the US edited version of 5D's until the 25th and then switched for the "new" version starting with episode 65, the beginning of "season 3".

Ah yes RTL2. One of the most dreadful TV Channels in the world and especially in germany. In my childhood days they have done a really good job handling anime, but since that Erfurt massacre from 2002 their broadcasting politics changed forever. It was rumered that many parents blamed RTL2, that there was to much violence shown in their TV programm. Hence of this, RTL2 made his own censor policy, paranoid of blame from parents or the goverment itself. However if they get blame from their fans, they just get ignored.
German Naruto is yet their greatest crime.

German Naruto is yet their greatest crime.
So i've seen.
They change things like weapons, into energy projectiles.
Its worse than 4kids lol.
Although nothing quite takes the cake like invisible guns.

but if they are airing a mostly unedited Yugioh, then they cant be all too bad.

I wouldn't take that for granted as they change their pattern as they like.

May I ask for the source of this?

Can you tell me why? I saw some of it on youtube, and I can't see why would you think that.

Stupid Cup Ramen jokes everywhere, even more Jack character derailment. No plot importance whatsoever aside from like the last 2 minutes.

Rin

Oh, I see.
You're a "NO FUN ALLOWED IN MY CHILDREN'S SHOW" kinda guy.

Still, you have a right to your own opinion, I guess. So I won't say anymore.

Romantic Fool

Well, aside from the fillers, 5D's is pretty good imo.

But yeah, 115...ugh.

Probably because it wasn't released on DVD... or so I think.
I heard it sucked.

Flame

Well so did Pyramid of Light, but I watched it anyway.

God, this is so [tornado fang]ing retarded.

Yes... I've been "kinda sorta" catching up. : /

Flame

It made me lol. I was like *eyebrow raise*

But I sort of went along with it since he's the coolest out of the three.

I seriously thought nothing would beat O'Brien's (GX) GUN THAT SHOOTS CARDS.
Derp derp... I was wrong. : P

Flame

GX was kinda lame. Besides just generally DISLIKING Jaden/Judai, I just could not get past the fact that there was a school where ALL you learned was card games. I mean, it was almost as ridiculous as the way Pokemon trainers are exempt from school to catch Pokemon.

School of KAADO GAYMU was indeed a stupid idea. They could have made it, so it's just a normal school, but it has clubs based on DM, or some [parasitic bomb].
In fact, there's many other ways the could have done that.
Then there was Kaiba meeting with Saiou and basically not giving a [tornado fang] about him and his goals.
Then in season 4 Saiou blows up the Kaiba Corp building. WHOOPS!
