Yes, I'm necroposting. But for good reason.

Back on August 15 (I'm a little late with the news, I know), it was confirmed by Ben Diskin (most recently heard as Young Xehanort in Kingdom Hearts 3D) that there will in fact be an Engish dub for this.


No idea when it's coming out, but hey, it's news!

I thought he sounded nice. Eh, to each their own.

Also, I may check out the English dub, I may not. I already saw all of Xros Wars (and Hunters for that matter) with subtitles, so I'm good.

So the first episode of the localized version aired on Nickelodeon earlier today. Seemed to be a mostly-faithful localization, though some of the names still bug me (at least Mikey means the same thing as Taiki and Angie is somewhat acceptable for Akari, but Zenjirou became Jeremy? What?). I'm aware that's just something that happens with the series though.

But yeah, aside from that it was pretty good. Gonna probably catch as much as I can, for curiosity's sake.

Though apparently Zenjirou's English VA was also Piedmon way back in Adventure. And also Veemon. And Impmon.

Damn he's been with the franchise since the start.

Hm, and Angie was also Sora.

I really should have looked into this more before it premiered.
