I think the card game will also likely get rules revamped.. again. I heard there was also a game to accomidate this too.

Shautomon is the previously announced Shoutmon. Which means that he's the basis for the crosses. I'm guessing if only two Digimon are involved, it'll be Shoutmon Cross Two. Also, it seems to be a new take on Jogress, or rather, DNA Digivolution.

And the Starmon you're thinking of is probably this guy:

Looks like he got a redesign.

@Blackhook: you're kinda wrong there. There are set Digivolution lines. I'm pretty sure that the Starmons we've seen before were Champion/Adult level or higher; this is obviously a Rookie/Child.

Yep, this is the Starmon I was mentioning.

So from what I can tell, that phone thing is obviously the new Digivice. Kihira and Nene are rivals of sorts; we don't know if they're good or bad yet, but the other Digimon (primarily Shoutmon, Dorurumon, Starmon, and Ballistamon) can merge a la Jogress to form Shoutmon Cross Four. Kihira and Nene's might not be a part of it, or maybe their Digimon can merge as well. I'm guessing that there's a fourth kid as of yet unrevealed too, based on the four that merge and only three kids. Starmon is probably Akari's. That leaves either Dorurumon or Ballistamon for Zenjirou.

This is all speculation, mind you.
