Famous to infamous video game companies, what are your favorites?

My top 5:

#1: Konami (Castlevania, Metal Gear, Contra, Gradius, DDR, Rocket Knight Adventures, and cartoon-based games)
#2: Capcom (Mega Man, Street Fighter II, Vs. Capcom, and cartoon-based games)
#3: Nintendo (The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros., Tetris, and the consoles that they make)
#4: Sega (Sonic the Hedgehog, and NiGHTS)
#5: LucasArts and Factor 5 tie (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Factor 5's: Turrican)

Treasure
- Because they make great arcade style games such as Ikaruga, Sin and Punishment (my most favorite game from them), and Gunstar Heroes. I also enjoyed Mischief Makers and Bleach: The Blade of Fate.

Capcom
- Love Mega Man, Street Fighter, Resident Evil (Resident Evil 4 and 5 kicks a lot of @$$), and the VS. Series.

Nintendo
- Super Mario Bros., Super Smash Bros., Metroid has been a great series, Kirby, Pokemon, and Zelda. I always wanted to try out Animal Crossing...

Squaresoft / Square-Enix
- Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and The World Ends with You are some my prime favorites from them (especially TWEWY). My other personal favorite from Sqaure is Parasite Eve on the PS1.

Konami
- A fan of Castlevania, Metal Gear is awesome (even though I only played Sons of Liberty), and they're one of the gods of VG music alongside Capcom, Nintendo, Sqaure-Enix, and Treasure.

Does doujin circles that makes games like Team Shanghai Alice and Siter Skain count on this thread, too?

I guess I'll post my top five and a couple honorable mentions.

1 - Nintendo

Legend of Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, Metroid, ect ect ect. 

2 - Intelligent Systems

Of Fire Emblem and Paper Mario fame... though lack of news from them is probably gonna knock 'em down a couple notches soon.  It's been a year since Shadow Dragon was released, and I don't think I've heard hide nor hair of 'em.

3 - Sunsoft

Blaster.  [tornado fang]ing.  Master.  No more needs to be said.

4 - Monolith

Baten Kaitos especially, and Xenoblade's got my attention because of this.

5 - Konami

Castlevania and Metal Gear are pretty fun.  That and as mentioned earlier, Castlevania has one of THE most impressive musical scores.

Honorable Mention - High Voltage

I don't play a lot of FPS, but these guys are one of the few 3rd-party companies to take the Wii seriously.  Up until Conduit, almost every  3rd-party title was a port, cross-platform, or a waggle-based minigame collection (Go to hell, Ubisoft).

Honorable Mention - LucasArts

One of the few producers of licensed games that I think actually do a good job... that and the LEGO Starwars games are a good way to let off steam.

I prefer the main companies, such s Nintendo, Sega, Capcom, Konami, e.t.c, but [erka:es] is also one of my faves, even though they are not much of a company in genernal, but they did make the Rosenkreuzstilette series.
