Fooling oneself seems to catch on a lot these days.

On that note, I think Diet Soda is one of the most pointless things I've ever heard of.

Don't you find it strange when someone orders something fattening at a fast food joint and proceeds to choose Diet Coke (or the like) as their drink.  At that point it doesn't even make a difference; they'd be better off just getting water.

Also, is it just me, or do Mc Griddles give an odd sensation in your throat, at the base, like a burning? Theyre good, but that's terrible...

My mom brought home Popeye's chicken today, and that's exactly what I felt after eating.  I had to down a rather large amount of water just to make it go away.  That cannot be healthy...

And yeah, there's hardly any point in getting a healthier alternative, fast food joints are by no means popular because of their apple pieces instead of fries. But I suppose you could do it if you really fear getting a health complication.

The less sugar you have, the longer it'll take diabetes to kick in.
