What other possible context would "boyfriend" fit in with? No one has ever said "boyfriend" in a platonic manner.

Because she's Asexual last I checked, that's why I'm asking.  So yes it may well be platonic.

Yeah, one of my lady friends is asexual and she found herself a girlfriend.

I try to be understanding but I also avoid pandering to this [parasitic bomb]. Said ladyfriend is huge on pushing "asexual awareness". I just kind of smile and nod.

Yeah admitedly this sort of thing is a bit annoying, I have no problem with whatever people identify with but when they try to agressivily make people aware of it I just start not liking them as a person in general.  I haven't really run into that too much, but I have and I just smile and nod like you do.

Still the awareness is helpful, as long as it's not in your face about it.

When I was a teenager, I came out as gay to my folks and my mom's like "nah, you're asexual!"  So, yeah.

She thinks I'm gay now, though.

A lot of it is just me being overly confused about any of it, and usually boiling down to "Oh, you are this thing, I am alright with this" as long as nobody tries to shove their orientation down my throat.

Yeah I often get confused about this since the most I see are Bisexuals, Bicurious, Homosexual, the occasional Lesbian, and the occasional Transexual.  Mirby and Pyro are the only Asexual people I know and I have never really met a Transgendered person or some of those other orientations that I really don't see often.

And I don't think Bicuriousity is a sexuality. It's just... curiosity. A form of boredom, maybe? I dunno.

If they even have an interest in the same and opposite gender I still kind of consider it even if it's just a curiosity.  But yeah Pyro is Asexual, and I think he's still been busy.  He pops up every now and then but doesn't post, I think he did so sometime last week.

Yeah before the forum crash she was a boy but now she's a girl.  Ever since she came here she identified herself as a female despite being a boy.  That is unless I'm mixing Transexual and Transgendered again, those always confuzzle me.

I'm just saying because IMO Mirby even looks like a girl so I would never have even thought that she was a boy. That's what I meant by "not to be inconsiderate" because I legit had no clue. Thanks.
