As technology grows more advanced, we find new possibilties as well as new dangers with the new technology that has been created. While Mega Man may be a fictional universe, does anyone here see a future of super powerful robots or sentient computer programs in the future?

Who knows? Only time will tell... :\ But according to my observations, technology is making many advances, and as time passes, it makes more and more advances at a time.

I wouldn't mind that, although the entire earth would probably be destroyed, but it's still probable to me. -u-'  I also think there will be Gundams and Mobile suits for space exploration and giant robot suit tournaments.

Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

I think a Hnk Future of Nuclear annihilation is far more likely.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

No, I don't think we'd ever make killer robots without a way to shut them off.

I see a future a bit similar to the EXE series (as in, just the EXE series, not Starforce). But even then that's a stretch

I don't think we'll ever have something like the Mega Man games or like the Terminator movies. What I do see though is something in the middle where you do have robots being used for war, but not the widespread destruction in terminator and not the blow up my own city in the original Mega Man games. The military already uses robots for things in the middle east, and they'll continue to evolve on that technology. It's just a matter of time.

Well,why not?!
I mean Robots exists even so they don't think by their own.
Computers are just as intelligent as the human who works on it.
I'm sure that a lot of scientists try to build  robots who can think and act on their own.
As far as I know something like this exist..a robot with the mind of a human-baby.(I hope I got the facts right òo)
But I guess it's a loooong way until something like "Rockman-Robots" come to life.

I can totally see it happen with Robot Masters, but not all of them obviously(For example Flash Man). first they would participate into those what you call them robot car tournaments where the cars are supposed to destroy each other, only this time mini Robot Masters are deployed, and a few decades later they will get implemented by the DARPA, or whatever mighty R&D company we would be dealing with then, to be unleashed on other robots.

I didn't consider time in itself, but I can definitely see someone trying to rebuild these favorite Robot Master of ours should someone still be able to remember Mega Man's franchise in a long, long future ahead(Or a short one?). Atleast ice and fire based ones. At the very least.

Oh and that video above is scary.

Scary? Well then you will have a scary life  :P It's Actroid Der3 by japanese Kokoro company. It's not for sale in stores yet, but they plan so in near future, and already these actroids serve as guides and receptionists etc. in companies. If you have enough money, you can rent it.

Hmm... three questions:

1.) Do they have a redhead model?
2.) Are they anatomically correct?
3.) How easy would it be to hide one from my parents?

1) I've seen only brown and black haired.
2) Yes. (But if you mean that if they have ehm, hole down there, I don't think so lol)
3) Same as hiding normal person. You can put her into closet hah

Robots already exist. Humanoid robots, or androids, are already being developed to serve as nurses and other domestic-related operations. But robots with superior intelligence? Not likely.

Maybe we could only have worker robots (Concreteman, Gutsman or Mets), but not doctors or assistants, what if a nurse glitches during an important operation?

something like dot  dot  dot

1. nurse sees blood.
2. thinks at how much more powerful she is than the humans.
3. nurse decimates hospital.
4. nurse gets shut down by Dr. Wily
5. Wily thinks of way to harness her abilities
6. ??????
7.why?ZERO PROFIT!not meant in the way that zero kills everyone...
