I just recently noticed how much I like Reaper Sigma... or Sigma X4 in general. His second for not so much. X5 had a cool one too, once he drops his wing-cape.
X7 is probably my least favorite... He just seems... dumb.

Didn't add a poll so people write their opinion out.

X1 and X3 Sigma share #1 mainly due to the challenge factor.  When it comes to looks, X8 I believe fits him quite well.

Over All, X2.  I just enjoy fighting him the most out of all of them.

Hobo Sigma in first place, Reaper Sigma in second, and the original one in third. I haven't played X7 or finished X8 however.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

X4, Ultimate Sigma. nuff said.
also, X5 Sigma 1, as he reminds me of Sigma from X1, with the dashing up walls and suck.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

wow, this one is really tough for me. all i know is that X7's is pretty lame compared to the rest.

I like X8's version of him. Pity that game doesn't give him a super form.

Robot Zombie Sigma. That's what I'd expect from the FINAL final Sigma fight.

Definitely "Devil Sigma" of X8 fame. Using space debris to form a body? Awesome.

Definetly NOT Sigma's 2nd form in X6! It looks like my grandma!

Hmmm.....probably the 2nd form from X3 or the 2nd form from X4.

There's just something epic about the way the battle is set up against Sigma in X1. And when you think he's dead, you suddenly see his head float up onto a giant robot battle dog body that just looked like a dramatic background object? Win.  8D

Well, I personally have my hands on X4 Sigma, Final form, has a huge challenge, first two forms have seperate health bars, and the same with the final two, that's FOUR health bars! fun to beat each one.

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Untill I learned it was modeled after his dog I thought it looked more like a rat...

X4's last form looks like your grandma with a cyborg suit, X6's doesn't. As for first forms, gotta love X5 and hobo Sigma, as well as X8.

The fact that such an evil bastard has a pet dog that breathes fire and shits ice that he sicks on you knowing it'll be killed, not to mention the fact that he merges with a giant robot modeled after the same dog, speaks leagues about his sanity.

X1 and X2's Sigmas are my favourites overall. X4's Reaper Sigma is pretty cool designwise, too bad his first form was so weak despite that. I never liked his final 2 forms in X4, personally.

I like the original X1 and X8 Sigma my self.  Like Fexni said about the X4 Sigma reaper cool desinge but easy to defeat, X6 is a half dead zombie, X7 pretty much defide the laws of physics at his final form,as for X5...uh yeah he looks like a disco reject.

Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

My favorite has to be X1 Sigma. X8 Sigma was pretty awesome, though really easy to beat.

X7 Final Sigma gets a place on this list simply because he fires a giant pink laser out of his pelvis and smacks you around with it.

I want X1/IHX Sigma's personality with X3's execution.

Ever since X4Starting with X5, Sigma has just become a regular crazed evil maniac rather than the idealistic, calculating, and manipulative figure he was in X1.

As far as fighting style goes, X3 makes sense. A few forms, followed by his true virus essence which is nigh unstoppable.

as for X5...uh yeah he looks like a disco reject.

Considering what his stage theme sounds like, I wouldn't be surprised!

X7 and X8 kinda brought back the "evil calculating and manipulative" side of him. though then again, X7 was just another X4, and in X8, his schemes didnt go as planned... out of his ignorance... unlike the other times, where it was BECAUSE of X and Zero directly thrashing his Lair and plans that [parasitic bomb] didnt go right.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

X1 Sigma is just classic.
X2 Sigma is more hectic looking, what with the claws, but easier.
X3 Sigma was a pain in the ass at the beginning but now he isn't that hard nor awesome anymore.
X4 Sigma is my favorite one. Reaper Sigma is ridiculous easy but he looks cool anyway, Ready for Round 2 Sigma is tricky but looks cool anyway and Space Dust Sigma is definitely a final battle I respect, and Sigma looks cool anyway(Plus messed up).
X5 Sigma is epic, but so damn giant in his 2nd form.
X6 Sigma is a zombie, and later on a metal zombie.

I never saw X7 Sigma or X8 Sigma. Tiss a shame.

Flok's favorites:

Presentation-wise you can't go wrong with X6.  Kicking the main bad guy while he's down is a rare treat in any fantasy storyline.  Also helps that the second phase has one of the most badass SNES remixes ever heard.  First time we heard Sigma scream at being beaten, and many many more explosions than is traditional for a defeated boss.  Can't ask for anything more.
