That was more luck of the items than anything else. My Little Mac killing you and knocking out the Smash Ball (of course it doesn't jump right before I fire the Light Arrow like it should've). Then the Hammers and me grabbing a Pokeball instead of the Hammer. LoL, we won't even go into Green Hill Zone.

Well, I was hoping to be in bed by 1, and nobody else is viewing this thread. So I'll turn in for now. Next time...or whenever the hell the connection is up to snuff, I'll be ready to Super Dragon roast some more combatants.

LoL, I have no issue when I'm beaten either by skill or even an item [tornado fang]ing or two, as it happens to everyone. However, when the game just decides to totally screw me over whenever I try to do a simple task like picking up an item or Smashing, that's when I call it a night!

Like I said, that would be me if I left the cursor on the Random option when the time ran out (I leave the Ocarina codes on whether I intend to fight on a custom stage or not; so I can keep Replays over 3 minutes).

...which I might have. Now that I think about it, I recall seeing Battlefield on the menu, and there's no way I'd have chosen that on my own. What can I say, you get wrapped up in punching in a response before the next match starts sometimes.

Who gives a [parasitic bomb] who won that match? Neither of us landed a single hit, and the replay's corrupt anyway.

Yeah, well, I beat the [parasitic bomb] out of you as Yoshi, you beat the [parasitic bomb] out of me when I was Peach, and then after switching back to Yoshi it took me a while to recover from the funk.

Seriously, though, even when I win you suck as an opponent. Falco Blaster/Pikachu Thunder abuse is not fun. ESPECIALLY the earlier on Smashville with no items. Flat stages after Final Destination (at least that one has good music) ought to be some kind of sin.

Hey, I can K.O. a Yoshi, and did. And forming a plan to beat Peach is kinda easy with Falco/Pikachu.

As for that second part, all I'm hearing is "wah wah", because Egg-Spamming and EggRoll Spamming is no different from any other spamming, whether it be my trusty Blaster, Mario's Cape or FireBalls, Marth Counter, etc.; part of the character's moveset, and perfectly justified.
(Then we get into Chainthrows and the like, which aren't. You'll notice I throw, but never Chainthrow.)

I forgot how fun Sudden Death matches were, though.

Tense, a decent test of skill, and even if ya lose, it's so frantic, it fairly well levels the playing field.

I've never had an issue with spamming Counter/Fireballs/Cape. The earlier has happened but it's not nearly as boring. And Akamaru kicks my ass as Falco and Pikachu often enough. The difference is he's actually fun to fight against. I'm not trying to insult you, it's personal preference.

Granted, that could be misinterpreted.

Yeah, I've seen Akamaru play Falco, can't really recall how he uses the old bird. Pikachu, I don't remember seeing him use, but I really like using Pikachu and getting hits wherever I see the opportunity arise.
