Its nice to see nobody here's latching onto the supposed leak bullshit with Shulk, Bowser Jr. and Duck Hunt Dog (Yes really) shown as playables. Where they claim characters like Ice Climbers, Lucas and Snake will be DLC.

No reason to even believe its real.

It's funny because every time I see someone try to defend the leaks as legit their reasons are less than satisfactory, like they're making it up as they go. There's far too many issues with those leaks for them to be legit.

Don't really feel like disputing it since there's technically nothing super conclusively damning about it.

Without going into specifics, I do however feel that the roster is very uncharacteristic of Sakurai, so I'm inclined to think it's fake.

So the 3DS version of Kerfuffle can be used as a walkman, basically, and lets you set up your own playlists to play even in sleep mode, with headphones plugged in. Just as well, they have composers from bloody everywhere across the industry for this one, possibly more than Brawl. You can check stuff out on the main pages of Smash, they added a Music tab alongside How To Play and so forth.

Hmm interesting, but I'll take it with a grain of salt for now, especially the one about the DLC characters.

I never really trust Smash Bros. leaks.  The fakes get awfully elaborate, and even if it is real, "a" roster is not necessarily the "final" roster.  But I guess we'll see.  I don't really buy the "clones are their own corner" layout of the screen, though.  Also, Sakurai typically treats Yoshi as his own franchise, and he has more of a reason to do so now than ever, what with New Island and Wooly World.  So I don't think that Yoshi should be separating Jr. and Rosalina from the other Mario characters.

The Duck Hunt dog....honestly, would be a very "Sakurai" thing to do.  Props for whoever thought that up, whether legitimate or not.

If they do go legacy characters for DLC, then we had damn well better see some facking Mewtwo, is all I can say.

I know I'll never want the Chorus Kids as character, my hatred of the mini game aside, they would be much better suited as an assist trophy.  And yeah clone characters on the side doesn't make sense either, that's just a huge red flag for me.

Depends on when it was taken, which we don't know. If it is recent though, then that's the final. It's too late now in the development cycle to make such a change, unless they remove one.

There isn't any excuse not to, and while it may not be in production now for DLC, there is always the future. Popular demand could help it along.

All I'm going to say is: Palutena.

The funny thing about the Palutena 'leak' was that it was entirely a guess with a scrapped up photoshop and everything to try and make people think she'd be in. It was pure chance that she, of course not being the same model as the leak, was actually in. It also helped that Sakurai trolled the community over it with a joke picture as if to throw everybody off.

Also, anybody can make a fake leak, make some images in photoshop, photograph them on your 3DS to get the screen warping effects and such, put them at strange blurry angles to simulate you sneaking images, and profit.
