Marth is there for graceful fencing and being a shark out for blood. I need someone I can be all Kenshin Himura off the walls and lethal with and I need someone to indulge my Trafalgar Law (One Piece) urges with. Hence Takamaru and Lip being two of my biggest wants. (Others include the near universally confirmed Palutena, Anna from Fire Emblem, and Mike Jones as always. )

Rosalina might be good in that aspect, based on what we've seen.

I am almost more excited for her mechanically that I am for Megaman. Think about that.

All the recent Melee exposure and the release of Project M 3.0 made me come back to my gaming "comfort food" and man, I can't believe I was ever gone. Damn I missed Smash Bros.

Quick question, guys... I don't know if this was discussed before, but I found on YouTube that some people were discussing whether or not Palutena of all people would become playable, among other things. What do you guys think about that?

I'd rather have Magnus, but Palutena is fine if she gets in.

Yeah, Magnus is my preference as well, but I could easily see either one working.

Who knows, maybe even both?  Stranger things have happened.

I don't think Magnus is a good pick because he barely did anything in KIU. He's in like three chapters of the game and really doesn't contribute to the story at all. If there were to be a third KI character, which I seriously doubt cause the series is really small, I'd rather go with Jerry's idea of Medusa, or even Hades.

If he barely contributed anything he wouldn't have been in a boss fight or one of the 3 playable characters.

That's why I said barely. Being one of the playable forms in that one chapter is kinda significant. But his other appearances in the game don't amount to much of anything. The boss fight he was in amounted to just being a monster of the day type thing. He's also severely underdeveloped as a character.

And besides, I'd rather not have yet another sword user in Smash if other fight styles are available.

In all fairness, that's basically saying that Magnus is up Ike's alley, and we don't know if Ike is coming back or not.  None of the other sword-users are "heavy" to that same degree.

I guess that's true, I guess I didn't feel like Ike was heavy or clunky to control even though I typically stay away from a glacier or tank like character in fighting games.  I felt the same way with Lucario too, I liked using him.
