i came in here expecting to see immense happiness from PB about little mac's announcement

Seriously not expecting this, and one of my friends absolutely hates it, but I just don't really know what to think of this since I've never played Punch-Out.

Someone on Screwattack also didn't like the idea of Little Mac being playable. So that's two people that are completely stupid. No offence to you Sakura, but your friend is daft.

I'm sure a ton of people expected this. The boxing ring stage was a huge clue. His moveset seems way more imaginative than I thought it would be. There is a lot of Balrog-ish moves there as a base, and I did expect a counter move and Giga Mac. But the dashing through enemies is really cool. And good [parasitic bomb] using the power meter; nice to see Nintendo acknowledge Super Punch Out.

Yeah some of his opinions are kind of weird to be honest.  He absolutely didn't like A Link Between Worlds, granted he wasn't a big fan of ALttP but he is liking the latter a little better from what I heard.

This is such awesome news.  Mac is a character that takes some imagination, but if they could make Sonic work, then they can make Mac work.

Blue hair.  Punching Ike would probably be taken as Nintendo dismissing non-japanese people who are fans of japanese entertainment.
