I'm glad its on both Wii U and 3DS, portable Smash Bros. is something I've wanted forever, I hope the two versions have some differences though. Like the one on the 3DS having like a different Adventure or something.
I think there'll be different stages at least.

We need more of these.
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Jericho

Also any character that Jericho can use well should be removed. (Death to Lucas!)
Joking aside though if they are going to remove clones instead of tweaking them then I wouldnt mind if they became skins for another character. Like Ness/Lucas and Fox/Falco.

Do you remember how many characters I was good with back during Brawl's prime?

Mario
Luigi
Peach
Ganondorf
Marth
Ike
Lucas
Pit
C. Falcon (to an extent)
Fox

I hope you can enjoy a Smash without those guys. :P

Meanwhile, this recent Smash reminicing reminds me, where's Wanda? I miss fighting her. XD

Police Girl

She's wandering of course.

Pffffft. Peach? Fox? Captain Falcon? You were no PB when it came to using those two!  8)

For the record, Lou & I still think that the Kirby/Captain Falcon Double Falcon Punch Death is still the greatest moment of Brawl ever!  8D

Perhaps my point hasn't been made clear, let me try again: I REALLY WANT to play [chameleon sting]ing Ridley in SSB4.
Ditto.  Melee's opening featured a Ridley that actually WAS not much bigger than Samus, and nobody complained.

Also recall, body size doesn't necessarily equal hit box.  Wings and tail are questionable, plus the matter of posture (Samus is "large" because she stands up straight, but Ridley needn't do the same; Bowser wasn't even that tall in Brawl, either).

And how much more awkward are we talking about in a game that features a 3-foot Pikachu?

You know, something just dawned on me: Will the 3DS version require you to use the Circle Pad Pro? I mean, when I play both SSBM and SSBB, I use the Z and the R triggers in my Gamecube controller; considering that the Pad has 4 triggers like a controller.

Kopaka: "That leaves you and I, Tahu Nuva."
Tahu: "No. That leaves only me."

Mirby

I doubt it will REQUIRE you to use it, but I can see it supporting it.

It'll probably be similar to Resident Evil: Revelations, where the CPP isn't needed but it controls a hell of a lot better with it.

Less so with SSB because camera isn't a huge part of the gameplay mechanics.

QuoteWith Melee and Brawl subtitles already used, would the new games keep the fighting spirit? Scuffle? Skirmish? In this case, series creator Masahiro Sakurai is thinking in simpler terms - the two games are called Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

I'm assuming this wasn't posted here. So that "for Wii U/3DS" text under the SSB name wasn't tentative after all.

Protoman Blues

Which means I'm still calling it Bitchslap!  8D

Mirby

i'm still calling it Smash 4

I, personally, will start calling the games: "Super Smash Bros. U" and "Super Smash Bros. 3D".

Kopaka: "That leaves you and I, Tahu Nuva."
Tahu: "No. That leaves only me."

Phi

I'm surprised Sakurai didn't just do Super Smash Bros. HD and Super Smash Bros. 3D.

Personally I think "for [insert system here]" is odd.

Ahrzayl

-whispers in PB's ear-....I think we might need a poll, sir.
