I must say the day I played the stars were against Jericho. It felt like they wanted me that day.

I really have to wonder about the stars and myself sometimes though, I really have no clue how they keep on appearing literally on my person as a match is in full swing.

The worst was when PB was trying to KO me on Luigi's Mansion. I grabbed a bat, swung it because I just wanted to and struck a Smash Ball that had floated near me, as well as a disoriented PB. As soon as he's sent flying, a star just drops on me out of the blue.

Take heart, however, I have off from Christmas Eve aaall the way through New Years (and will damn well be earning it......inventory ).  For that week I'll be Brawling the night away, baby!   (though on New Year's Eve I am hoping to get a "double date" on NSMBWii for some full 4-player action).

Meanwhile, I need to work out the kinks in the 'dorf again. I feel like I'm putting in the right inputs, but nothing registers as well as I thought it would.

Heh, I should've quit while I was ahead.  I knew there was no way I was going to top the Knuckle Joe/Bomb/Soccer Ball death + getting me the Smash Ball combo match. 

Man, I'm still in shock over how many Knuckle Joes and Gray Foxes I got out of the Assist Trophies.

Heh, I should've quit while I was ahead.  I knew there was no way I was going to top the Knuckle Joe/Bomb/Soccer Ball death + getting me the Smash Ball combo match. 

That [parasitic bomb] was not cool at all! I went from zero to some insane number like 296 without you moving from your spot on the other side of the level!

I got my revenge in that one Yoshi's Island Ike/Falcon battle though. Smash attacking the soccer ball to meet you up the hill rather than going for you was the best play I made that match.
