Anyone remember Bad Dudes vs DragonNinja for the Arcade and NES? It has one of the most famous Excuse Plots in video game history. You can simplify that plot with any story. Here's one.

Orihime has been kidnapped by the Arrancar. Are you a bad enough ~~Shinigami~~ Soul Reaper to save her?

And before that, Rukia has been kidnapped by the Soul Reapers. Are you a bad enough... uh, substitute to save her?

Anyone want to provide their own?
