Metal man. His weapon is the weakness of more than half the games robot masters, himself included. Also, something I realised recently, he has kunai attatched to the sides of his head.

What a one sided match.
I dislike Retcon-man, so I pick Metalman. plus, Metalman is awesome.
And he isnt a dentist.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Obviously Masqurade's got this in the bag. Although, I like that Time's head is an alarm clock, so he gets my vote.

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

My liking of Metalman himself (and not just his weapon) has gone down a LOT since I was a kid.  However, I have no real attachment to Timeman at all and can barely recall what his weapon does.  So Metalman!

While he is certainly an easy opponent, Metal Man has more visual appeal than Time Man. So, I will vote for him.

That, and I have less affection for Time Man himself.

True that.   Of course I also find Metalman pretty easy.

Of course Timeman isn't really a MM1 Robot Master while Metal is 100% a MM2 RM.

I stand by my argument that Time man and Oil man are retcons made solely for the sake of completing the circle of 8. I mean, they seriously weren't necessary.

Despite the fact that that was what Kenji Inafune originally wanted, despite not having enough power?

Also, Being weak against your own broken power is pathethic and what was Metal Man's personality?

I kinda agree with Flame.

Inafune might have origionally wanted eight robots, but I don't think he thought of Time and Oil specifically.

Not having enough power? They would have been in the game originally. they are just retcons, since 1 is the odd man out, having only 6 bosses.

If TMMN is to be believed, Meatl Man is suposed to have a "shrewd and businesslike personality".

His MM&B data card, meanwhile, points out that his bad point is "shady business".

On a side note, he likes playing frisbee and hates dogs.

I like Time Man. To dislike him just because he was in the remake and not the original is kinda shallow.

Thats just it. He was in the remakes, and there was really no need for him. He and Oil FELT like cheap retcons to finish the circle of 8. they havent been around since the original, and thus there really isnt much feeling to them. They havent been brought back and fought Megaman in other games, or cameo'd. THEY feel shallow.

In what games do you want them to appear when the only Classic game we've gotten after PU is 9 =/

I don't see why that's even a factor. All the boss robots in every game a result of establishing that same old circle of 8. It is a long established tradition simply because it works. It gives the player the expected amount of new content in terms of bosses, music, stages and weapons. Thus, you should consider it as such; they gave you two new bosses to give the player new challenges and replay value. They made Rockman Rockman much more than a 1:1 remake by making it on par with the other games. But not just that, the game actually went and exceeded all other titles by allowing you to play as every boss, and giving us the ability to make every stage of our own liking.

Besides, the Numbers make a lot more sense with TimeMan and OilMan. 8 robots were used by Wily, and MetalMan is the ninth robot in the numbering. Rock and Roll shouldn't be in the list of robots that took over the world each mainstream game.

Concerning those RMs, I like Oil Man more. Granted, he is a stereotype and his weakness is easy to figure out, but you have to give him points for being the franchise's first black RM.

In what games do you want them to appear when the only Classic game we've gotten after PU is 9 =/

Very simple, actually; The Rockman 8 FC remake (okay, so that's before PU and 9, but still '>.>).

Considering how Cut Man and Wood Man had little reason to be there aside from being bonus bosses, Time Man and Oil Man would be the ideal substitutes for them.

Yes, it's nerd rage. Your reasoning is backward and doesn't make sense. You don't like Time Man because of a choice to add in two more bosses? Really? Sorry, but I'm not buying and no one else is either. The real reason you don't like Time Man and Oil Man may be a simpler one: you just don't. You don't like their designs, their stage music, etc. I don't know, I'm not you. But just saying you don't like Time Man would have sufficed, you didn't need to go and make a BS reason.
