That is absolutely lovely, DW.  The dress, the pose, the background, the everything.  Very beautiful.

You have very beautiful colouring skills.

Thank you everyone. Right now I'm working on Sheo's hair and Iitani's as well once I remember the shades her hair had as she's a white blonde instead of the golden shade of blonde. It'll probably take a little while but it'll be done sometime soon in the future.

I'm glad her dress has turned out so well, five shades of green and navy blue were used for it, although I might work on it a little more.

Main dress - Spring Green, Apple Green, Grass Green, Emerald Green, Dark Green, and navy Blue
Gold trim - Cream, Deco Yellow, Canary Yellow, Yellow Ochre, and Goldenrod
Skin tone - Eggshell, Brick Beige, Light Walnut, Cloud Blue, and Violet Mist
Sheo's Hair - Poppy Red, Scarlet Lake, Crimson Red, Tuscan Red, and Dark Umber

To get a blended effect you take the lightest color and go over the whole area again. You shouldn't have to worry about ruining the marker with the darker shades if you allow them to dry. Also, don't be afraid of adding a lot of color to paper, since it should take it unless it's a poorly made. (This piece is used with Bristol Shinobu's was done on Strathmore Sketch paper, since it's thinner then the Bristol the ink ran through it a lot more. So I used scrap paper to absorb what ran through.)

I heard that Copics blend better but I never could get my hands on them, nor do I have the money to do so. So these are done with Prismacolor markers.

Anyway, a random update, done months ago when I was planning a fan made region for Pokemon. XD I haven't touched on it much though, but this is still marker but before I learned about the blending skills.

Left to right;
Teras - Grass Type
Panre - Fire Type
Narwhus - Water Type

DarkWaltz

Thanks all. ^^ It's a little easy to figure out the starters, but the remaining Pokemon will be more difficult to come up with. Ah well...

Anyway, found more Pokemon related art. The first one was for a Fakemon contest on DA. (It didn't win, hell I don't it even got a vote for it. XD ) Either come up with a three step evo of a new pokemon or do a pre-evo and final-evo to an official Pokemon. So here's the original Pachrisu. It's pre-evo is called Chipiri, which is only electric type like Pachirisu. The final evo is Pachisorai, which is electric/ flying type.

Done in color pencils, marker (This was years ago when I barely touched them), and some manipulation on Pixia. So, it looks... bad. XD

This next picture features my Diamond game's trainer, Kayou Okido, with her Pokemon team. I tried to get their heights correct although I accidentally took Shellos' height instead of Gastrodon's height. Oh, and by the names you can pretty much guess what kick I was on at the time as well. XD

Team
Gastrodon - Rush
Bibarel - Maria
Staraptor - Harpuia
Luxray - Zero
Rapidash - Fefnir
Torterra - Daichi

Aww... Chipiri's cute... >w<
And very interesting final evo for Pachirisu... A flying squirrel... Nice. :3

And yeah at Gastrodon... Still, it's a rare small sized Gastrodon! XD

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Protoman Blues

Awwwwwwww, both of those are adorable!  Very nice team too!

DarkWaltz

An update for you all on the picture of Sheo and Iitani. They're basically done aside from a few more tones I want to add when I get the background filled in. I want to do a design for Sheo's cloak but I need to toss around some ideas with it first. I don't want to ruin it by going at it blindly y'know?

Also, a pen sketch I did while on break at work this afternoon. It might become an actual full color piece. I realize I got Phantom's helmet wrong, I haven't yet got it down to memory.
