...And $Kids returning to thier roots? I'd like to see them TRY. First off, right off the bat, hire an actual japanese translaitor that excels at english. 2nd, no rap, hip-hop, or butchering of the origional anime's OP and ED, which is extremely annoying. Do one of two things:

1. Do what you did with Pokemon's first OP. Transilate it.

2. Keep the origional OP, like Gundam Wing. I bet Ami/Yumi's OSTs are still floating around FYE, Buest Buy, or somewhere on the internet, so J-Pop is still tolerable in the US.

And DON'T follow the quick-n-easy path, as CN did, or you'll get something close to TDI or Jhonny Test. Following with actual research before dubbing.

well, their initial pokemon roots were not that bad... (that I know of anyway.) Back before anyone knew them, when they still used this logo and it ONLY EVER appeared during Pokemon's credits.

I know, but once and awhile they need to look back on thier success with Pokemon before they produce anything out of their arse.

And yes, I find that logo more superior than the "sissy logo" they have currently.

It looked more Dignified. more... "professional." The current one just makes them look like a party service.

What are you babbling about? They never translated the first Pokemon opening. They made their own.

Well, if not, then the opening must've been shortened to usual US standards and edited. There's quite a few scenes here that was in the US opening too.

Dude, that's ALWAYS the case when companies make their own openings instead of using the original. NO 4Kids opening has ever been the same as the original, does any part of the JP intro even sound like it resembles the US one?

Well, I thought "What?". Some anime in most regions had thier Origional OP songs transilated. I might have mistaken it for some other regional dub.

Well, thats' the US and certain companies, it doesn't certainly apply in -certain- regions. Head Cha La was actually transilated into spanish at one point. It's just that 4Kids have always been picky about thier openings.
