I hear there's a piracy protection in this game that makes so that literally every time you take a step you'll enter a random battle or something like that. Can you confirm that?

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

VixyNyan

Yea, it happens for me too.

It won't matter tho, when my real cartridge shows up. ^^

Hmm. Intersting. Judging by those voice clips, Netto will "OPERATO" Subaru.

I wonder if we can beat the whole game with our shooting star friend?

The first choice lets you fight wirelessly. Second choice is "VS. Forte". Third choice shows your points.

Have you already encountered SHOOTING STAR ROCKMAN?
I sure fuckin' hope so. It better not turn out, that you meet with him after you beat the game. : /

Police Girl

That would be a waste of time... You know what though... I recall hearing about people here wanting Capcom to release the original EXE games on the DS. Well, they did and you guys [sonic slicer], I can understand when the game is completely the same, but its improved, using the enhanced gameplay of the later games. And you STILL [sonic slicer]. Graphics and Sound Don't mean everything, as long as the game is enjoyable it should be fine... At least the original theme is back.

Something weird happened to my banner, please wait while I find a new one.

It actually is the same as the original. You get your HP back after every fight, so that's not changed at all. You keep you chips when you put them in the chip machines in Higure's Shop and reload the game. It's been hinted that ElecMan's stage is a little easier now. o.o </wii>

Meh, they could easly put EXE 2 and EXE3 or just EXE 2 and not just one game that you can finish in 2 or 3 days. Let's see what kind of secrets capcom still have for OSS.

Yeah, the biggest difference is the whole B button thing >_>, at least Twin Leaders had some nice extras, actually changed some of the gameplay, and it was pretty much two games in one.

You know what, I probably will too. I mean... If they insisted on making it so similar to the original (With some changed graphics) It must mean something... I'm a little peeved that they didn't make it completely different. But maybe theres a REASON behind all this. They make the game look like a waste of time, and thats probably to make the secrets in the game all the more better.

The music is fine. ^w^ And i recently saw a Let's Play of this so i am quite sure where to go.  X(
The only thing i don't like is the Plug In voice. Sounds too loud.
Also, who is the Points vendor at Lan.. i mean Netto-kun's pc?

Yay, I can still fight recklessly and get through as many battles as I want as long as I can survive any one of them with full health!  The sequels made it so you had to be careful not to lose HP, and not just if you were shooting for a high Busting Level.  Having to conserve health only makes me want to explore the Internet less.

Hey, some of us get tired of holding the run button all the time.  But if you still want to make tiny adjustments to your position for some reason, then now there's a button just for you!  (Though does this mean that skating is the default for Lan now?  That does seem a little silly.)

D code?  What?  Did they suddenly decide that SkullMan's real name is DokuroMan now or something?  Or is that just their excuse after noticing there were too many S-initialed Navis in one game?

You should be finding a Program, in the same internet area. Then you should talk to Glyde. ^^
That reminds me, someone should check if you still need to bump into the entrance to the second Internet area before you're able to challenge Dex for his link to it.  EXE1 had some weird event triggers like that.

And that reminds me of playing through the original game with a cheat code that made it so I got no random battles at all.  That does make the game faster and the boss fights more challenging when all the abilities you have to use are what you pick up on the overworld, but eventually you run into characters who demand that you have 60 chips in your library and a level 30 MegaMan before you can proceed.   >U<

Just go to Meiru's house, talk to her and plug-in to her piano.
Then you will meet SS Rockman in different internet areas and fight ClockMan later.
You will be able to switch to SSRockman with key item SSプログラム (SSProgram).
And you also get the battle chip "SSRockman". The BombMan event comes after this event.
