I guess me not starting conversations is a big deal to some people. Oh well we didn't really have much in common anyway. Still kinda stings though.

Friends with that sort of expectation are often the ones I talk to least out of avoidance for aimless and awkward conversation not worth anyone's time. It's the people you can just jump in and keep talking to after any days, weeks or months of silence that are really worthwhile.

I went through and changed it so my real name isn't what people see on the Contacts list, mainly because it got real confusing since my dad has Skype as well, and we share the same first name.

I'm not sure if the gag's been worn out and I should change my name back to JustAFan or something else but I feel like it's been too soon. The name change was not a month or two ago. :/

Okay.

Under the Skype tab on the menu bar, there's a selection called profile.
Hover over that, and there's an option called "Edit your Profile".

That's how I did it.
