I gotta take some (crappy) pictures of my Christmass swag when I get the chance. (Spoiler Alert: No ZOE HD Collection for my Xbox 360... yet) And is me, or does Lego's new Chima line screams "inspired by Thundercats (2011)!"? Looks cool though.

After remembering Quint's existence, MMII is now the story arc I want the Archie comic to do the most.

Well I'm using a Growlithe for the first time ever, so far so good and it looks adorable.

They're good pokemon, but their best attacks being available only after about lv40 unevolved is extremely annoying. At least BW2 made Flare Blitz be below 50...

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

My first ever experience with Pokemon: (yes, I have never played a PKMN game aside from a few hours into Fire Red, go ahead and kill me)

*entire battle consisting of harden*

The. Whole. Fight. It just sat there getting hard.

I fought a [tornado fang]ing rock, mate.

When you are aiming for a Butterfree, start at Caterpie. That way when that caterpie evolves, his movepool will carry over and thus will be able to participate in combat. This will be very useful for dealing the grass-type gym leaders Nintendo loves to throw at you. Don't forget to pick up rock types as it's pretty much the same deal here, along with the routine fire-type gym leaders.

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Eh, I was wondering about that since you know, it would get annoying if YOU were the one to have a freshly-caught metapod that only knows harden, rather than grinding a caterpie.

I should have bought that Samus Figma when it was new. Or still around, anyway. I can't buy that [parasitic bomb] now. 130 is far too steep.

You've got to remember, it was literally my first hour into anything barely resembling Pokemon. I have no [tornado fang]ing clue what you are even talking about even now, the point was that, as Can mentioned, it was so [tornado fang]ing dull and it took forever with my newbie Pokemon. It was like a boss battle where the boss couldn't attack. B(

Not to mention, I fought a TRAINER who used one with no attacks. (Yeah, I think it was a bug catcher)

what

I just think of it as free experience, and honestly I rather fight a Metapod than a Magikarp.  Seriously you have no idea how many Magikarps I fought.

I'm beginning to realize that I'm horrible at commitments. I'm just starting to manage my own time. Turns out that's a really important prerequisite to committing to anything.

Even regular forum'ing is a commitment, albeit more one built on the instant gratification of a next reply or thousands of topics to reply to. Still, it's being part of a community.

All I want to do these days is either distract myself from work or play videogames. Perhaps I'm spending too much time watching Game Grumps or the next hot thing instead of making plans to do something different.

I think I'll get to that closet renovating plan once Time Gentlemen, Please! finishes.

Have you by any chance suddenly found yourself with much less free time?

Oh, have I! It's my first internship. Plus I'm working on my last two semesters of college in 2013.

I've been wanting this for a while, actually. The push to actually manage my time helps me figure out the things I actually want to make time for. What to do regularly, what not to do, small-to-large projects, etc.

My approach to time/productivity management comes in the form of something I've thought about doing, but never really got much mileage out of: a journal. Instead of writing in it and ruminating about each day (usually with a tone of disappoinment/depressive self-reflection), I'm taking cues from Lifehacker and using it as a daily planner & accountability chart. It makes a huge difference, in that it provides me the structure and initiative I need to attack (or enjoy) each day with direction. It helps me avoid distractions by allowing me to easily prescribe discrete subjects to focus on, instead of worrying about an overarching phantom of obligation in the back of my mind.

It's really satisfying to do this, because I feel a little more like I'm in control of myself. The time constraints I plan out for my activities are rewarding instead of restricting when I satisfy them. Even if I don't, I just start again the next day.

I watch those things and play at the same time. :3

I watch them and post on RPM/read articles/do repetitive stuff at the same time. Or when I'm cleaning the room.

The only time I watched Game Grumps while playing a game was when grinding for zenny in Legends 2. That was pretty fun
