Yeah Barns and Noble is for sale now. The reason for this is because they were losing money because they lied about how the Nook could get books wirelessly like the Kindle when in fact it wasn't true so I guess people got pissed and now they're bankrupted. It could also be because they claim to have things in store when in fact they don't.

I mean, they are kind of expensive, but they're the only book store within barely walking distance. (It's actually bus-riding distance, but yechghfch)

EDIT: Okay I got my info a little screwed up basicly all the Barnes and Nobles are for sale for someone to buy. Whoever buys it has the choice of keeping it the same or getting rid of it.
