GameFaqs has the cutscene scripts, and unless you want to hear the voice acting and see the character expressions, you wouldn't be missing out on much.

"His voice is just too low. The Japanese voice actor is fine, but Dan Green is way too low. I can tolerate a semi-bass Knuckles, but not a baritone Knuckles. And Espio sounds horribly awful. No two ways around it, he sounds like crap."
