Garou: Mark of the Wolves ( Arcade/Neo geo)

Garou counts as underrated? Still, I'm surprised to see I'm not the only one here that played/liked Kabuki Klash and Waku Waku 7

Anyways...
-Boktai series
-KOF Neowave
-KOF XII
-Money Idol Echanger (lets see who actually knows this one)
-Neo Mr. Do
-Kabuki Klash
-Waku Waku 7
-Castlevania Judgment

And those are all that come to my mind so far that I've really liked but aren't popular.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

I don't think NMH is underrated in the least. It's very well received.

To my list I'll add Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers The Movie and Toy Story. Both are the Genesis versions. I'll put the PS2 Castlevanias there as well; they get a lot of undeserved flac.

There are many games listed here that aren't even close to underrated... :\ Overlooked maybe... but still very well received by those who played them.

God Hand is underrated.

Now that you say that, I kinda remember Animaniacs (Genesis). Sega's (technically Konami's work, then published by Sega for the Megadrive) first REAL control-three-chars-at-once game before they did Sonic Heroes. Only better because it was in 2D, with a Megaman 7-y password system (character input from Yakko, Wakko, and Dot to the rest of the cast). Plus Jawbreakers which almost has the same mechanic, but made by Bam!. but not as crazy hard as Animaniacs.

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

... That was made by Konami.

Anyways, for the topic... well, I would be here for a long time, and I don't really feel like typing up a massive list. For that reason, I'll just name the MegaMan game that I find is the most underrated, and that would be Network Transmission.

Sorry, last time I played the game. ^^; Anyway, yeah. good Megaman game, but I think the battle network as a whole is under appreciated. there's 50% of fans that actually hate the series and it's sequel series too.

Keno: That might be the furthest example from being underrated this thread has seen yet. Pokemon always gets high marks (well, the core RPGs anyway), and fans are still eating them up.

Pokemon Snap might fall into the underrated category, though.

And games marked with "?" are games that I have a question(s) about or that I merely want to comment about them. The rest are added to my ever growing list of favorites]
I was going to add Okami, but I wasn't sure if it truly was an underrated game. As for Dynamite Headdy...I didn't feel right addding a game to my favorites lists when I haven't finished it yet. Even though, from what I played at least, the game was very fun and crazy.

What is this Gotcha Force that some of you have spoken of?

And as for the games marked with "*". What are they about and what systems are they from?

No More Heroes [Wii]
*Okami [PS2/Wii] (I own the Wii version. Some people complained that the motion control ruined the game, at first I thougth so too, but then I found a trick to it and it made the game very enjoyable.)

A lot of people don't like it. It's the black sheep of the Zelda family.

Oh yeah, Gunstar Heroes isn't underrated either. Far from it, it's regarded as one of the best run'n'guns ever.

I've only fully completed the game once. Believe me, the final levels - Fatal Contraption, Far Trek and Finale Analysis - will have you crying manly tears of blood and rage. Dark Demon is a [sonic slicer] to fight, even when you know the right strategy.

But damnit I love that game.

What is this Gotcha Force that some of you have spoken of?
A criminally unheard-of Gamecube game where you collect and customise an army of tiny robots and monsters, then pit them against eachother in hectic battles. The voice acting is pretty cheesy and the story isn't great, but it's still a fun little game if you can get your hands on it cheap.

So the final levels are tough...sweeeeeeeeeeet.

Sounds fun, I might buy it next time I drop by a game store...if I can find it that is.

Gotta try my hands at God Hand too.

Guess that means I gotta remove that one from my list.

So what about Sin & Punishmet and the other games I marked with "?" on my list, are some or all of them not underrated?

My friend doesn't like it either...but then of course, everyone has different taste in games, shows, toons, fetishes, other sources of media and entertainment, etc.

I for one find the Metal Gear Solid series a bit overrated.

On another note, PB, what exactly is Zone of Enders? I don't believe I heard about that game before you started mentioning it on the E3 09 thread.
