I'm playing this game right now. It's worthy of the perfect scores it's getting. At first it's all "meh", but then it gets all "ARGGG"! It's an awesome game.

Well, I ordered this online with slowass shipping for the sake of GameStop's "$20 off a future order" shpiel. In the meantime I never 100%-ed Galaxy1, and I have Endless Ocean Blue World and Metroid Prime 2 to tear through, so there's PLENTY to keep me busy.

I would just like to take this post to thank my buddy Ninja Lou for those Platinum passes to Nintendo World on Friday. I bought the game today, and it was total [tornado fang]ing chaos. A line just to get in, a line to wait for pix with Mario & Luigi, and a line to meet Charles Martinet. Although I'm sad I didn't have time to wait for a pic with both Mario & Luigi, simply to rub the Luigi pic in Lou's face like the ass that I am, at least the line to actually buy the game was pretty short. Either way, chaos!

Now, I shall play it tonight after work, dinner, and The Last Starfighter.

Just got this game today too.

Man, I'm not even done with world 1 yet but so far it's just pure fun, I absolutely loved the drilling level. However, if you're one of THOSE guys that hated how you get more lives in NSMBW than you'll ever need...well...lets just say that if you do world 1 in one sitting and you don't have 40+ lives you're doing something very wrong.

Haven't beaten it yet, but there's one bit that bothers me so far: In the intro it mentions that the Star Festival comes once every century, and that time has come again, etc. So unless I missed something here, does the game technically take place a century after the first? (ridiculous as that may sound)

Obviously this is a different Star Festival than the previous game. A better Star Festival.

That or it's take 2, since Bowser ruined the first one, and now he's ruined the second one too. Damn you, Bowser!

I've been playing it for roughly 8 hours total now.

I have 96 stars with the first four worlds being 100% complete. In World 5 i'm missing two Comet Medals and in World 6 i've got a few worlds that i haven't even touched yet.

As for the Special World i've done the first three, with ease i might add but then Stone Cyclone Galaxy made an appearance and despite the fact i KNOW i should be able to beat it i just can't seem to. I'm having a lot of unlucky runs mainly due to my repeated attempts to get the Comet Medal in that level on top of getting everything else. I'll knuckle down with it soon and just blitz the levels.

In other news i nearly have 9999 star bits

Edit:

Beat Stone Cyclone and the following stage Boss Blitz. I now have something like 101 or 102 stars. I need to get 110 to access the the final hungry Luma and by extension the final stage in the game. I've opened up a new galaxy in World 6 but i have yet to play it. I'm currently trying to find the Comet Medals i don't have in World 5. I'm having trouble finding the Comet Medal in Fleet Glide Galaxy.
