Oh man, the puzzles look even more OH SHI worthy than before! Maybe not harder, necessarily, but will scare you, make you think! owo

And people are complaining about Bowser Jr.

...what? That's as bad as complaining about Ball-And-Chain Robotnik being back when the S2 Drill Car already returned in Sonic Advance 1. Junior's redeemed himself already in NSMBWii.

This game will be great.

Well, and the Dry Bones heads chomping away at the floor isn't unlike Matter Splatter Galaxy or the Black Hole Reactor.
Nor is the swinging from post to post or Yoshi from flower to flower new; Super Mario Sunshine.
And SMG1 did cover hollow planets and structures, but on a basic level.

SMG2 takes away some exploration in exchange for some solid fun platforming, 2D and 3D. Which is honestly fine; some of the SMG1 galaxies' stars weren't that fun. Too long.

Junior redeemed himself in the BitF Christmas Carol. Anyways... EPIC! More side-scrolling segments, Yoshi once again a vital part to solving some puzzles (like in Sunshine) hopefully without as much water-dissolving, and some crazy boss fights again (like that dragon or Junior's robot there). This is going for win on the greatest scale. And I think it will succeed!

EDIT: Thank god I posted slowly. First off, Other M looks AWESOME! And Galaxy 2? Lessee.... world maps without a hub world like in Galaxy 1, heck yeah! Plumber's Head Galaxy? (that's what I'm calling it) SWEET! And old and new elements returning to create a masterpiece? I think so.

That trailer REALLY made my day. Level design looks leaps and bounds above even the awesome original. Plus, more 2D-tastic segments are <3.

Any way, I have no prob with Jr, in fact, I even started to like the lil tyke the more I got acquainted with him. Of course, I only hope that Roy and the rest of the Magnificent 7 are slated to be here too.

Pre-order has already been made. I just have to wait for that call in the merry month of May.  *o*

Maybe in 3. For now, they need to take a break; they could be in each game back when Bowser Jr. wasn't around (SMB3, SMW, Yoshi's Safari), but now they need to pace themselves (especially since they had the same "jump on them" attack pattern in NSMBWii).

Well, with better attack strategies. Like in SSS (an RPG, yes, but each kid had their own attacks and unique strats to beat each one).

Exactly.

I mean, Junior himself was pretty boring to fight in NSMB for DS. He was a mini-boss in each world, and the same basic strategy applied each time. Jump on the head and GG. Galaxy was an entirely different story, though. He appeared 3 times on his own, and each "fight" was a different one (if you count when he just summoned fodder to fight Mario on his behalf "fights").

So, honestly, there's nothing that could stop them from doing likewise with the rest of the gang. And hey, if they actually gave them written dialogue (like Jr has in Galaxy), it would be another "first" for the original 7.

Besides, I'd like to think that, for all that they went through to not re-introduce the 7, but also give them brand new, revamped designs? That should imply that we should be seeing more of them, now. And shoot, short of like maybe a future iteration in the Mario Baseball series or whatever, how many other venues would be present to utilize the Koopalings?

Has there EVER been a Mario game (not counting Party/sports and similar spin-offs) in which Peach doesn't get kidnapped by someone or something? ...I'm not sure if Mario & Luigi counts.

I don't know what they'll do for bosses this time around; we've already seen 2 or 3 sub-bosses, depending on what that Fire Hippo's deal is.

I just get the feeling there'll only be one Bowser Battle at the end this time, but I could very easily be wrong.

Anything's possible, now.
