He’s ripping out Wood Man’s guts…with his hands! Man, that is absolutely brutal. Screw the Mega Buster, I’m going to pull him apart with my bare fists!
Maybe that was the OLD way of stealing weapons, before he learned how to jump and suck balls out of the walls.
I'm not sure which is more scary: Rock ripping Woodman apart or Dr. Wily the alien?
Dr. Wily's alien form? You mean that shadow in the corner? Although his "normal" form already looks pretty scary there, with his pointy ears and all.
I'll just reiterate what I said over at Capcom Unity:
You know, this ad reflects how American gamers probably saw Megaman at the time (and the box art didn't help). To us he was a mook-mangling machine (in the literal and figurative sense);
That's how I still see him.
Anywho, even if it's long before it's time, doesn't Mega look alot like X there? >.>
The plain round shoulders make me think of Megaman Trigger. But then he has the yellow straps on his helmet like EXE or the first Megaman box art...
