What are the most common operating systems that you use? These can include the ones that you use at school and at work, not just at home.

At the moment, I use Windows 7 at home and also Windows XP. At school, I use Windows Vista and Mac OS X Leopard.

I've used all sorts of different Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.
Right now I'm running Mandriva One Spring 2009.
(In the past I've used Ubuntu 8.10, Kubuntu 8.10, Sabayon Linux 4, and Fedora 10)
Windows 7 won't work anymore, it went through an RC update and blue screened, so I can't use it, makes me sad. :C
Other then those, I like good ol' Windows XP.

I haven't used Mac in a long long time though.

Best stay away from me then, my curse knows no bounds.
I can break a computer without even being in the same room as it.

It doesn't necessarily mean you're good with technology. It only means you have a curiosity for it. You're willing to try out technology and different operating systems. All that jazz.

I get curious yes, but I go in blind, so things don't always work out for the best.
But if it weren't for Linux, I wouldn't have any computer access aside from an hour a day on my Mom's PC.
So I'm glad I'm curious. XD

I had XP, until I got my laptop which has Vista. Which actually, has not given me any problems at all.

i've had the same XP PC for years. i could use a new computer, but i'll be damned if it doesn't have XP. i've gone through hell and back trying to help my grandmother with her Vista-equipped laptop.

What I have noticed about Vista is that it has a few unnecessary things, such as the fact that the start menu doesnt cascade and opens in the same "window" thing. and I dont change it to classic, because the side tabs are convenient.

then, theres the stuff it SHOULD have. It does not have Windows Picture and fax viewer, meaning I have to open Gifs in Firefox.
which is fail.

then on the start menu, the power button actually puts the computer to sleep. you have to go to the little side arrow and the little side menu to select what you want to actually do, Shut down.

other than that, it just takes a bit of getting used to. Coming from Xp, it a bit overwhelming since its pretty drastically different. but I got used to it. no problems yet. Except Windows Firewall has an annoying habit of turning itself off on occasion.

I'm "stuck" with Vista on my laptop, and XP on my home computer (which I never use), I did try to put Ubuntu on my laptop, by Vista actually prevented me from doing so (kinda like the whole Wii Homebrew thing).

I should hope you turned off User Account Control? (you know, those annoying extra warnings you get when installing things and such)

My computer has Picture and Fax Viewer, but when I want to go to paint to edit something I have to do it manually because the picture edit button is broken.  XD

But in all honesty, I hate my XP....

I still have the XP that works for awhile now as an working OS system for me, other than that, the OS seems to work pretty much fine right now. :\

So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.
