...So it's as big as a DS Phat?

Solar

Hmm, bigger, a color I like, and a better battery life. Yeah, I'll get this instead of an i whenever NoA brings it to America.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

As expected an old-eyes DSi, nothing more nothing less.  I'm happy with the smoother fit into my pocket, seeings how the DSi is in and of itself a larger screen size than the original/Lite.  But if you think 256x192 merits a 4-inch screen size, more power to you.

Wine Red, yum.  <3 I'm glad I didn't buy a DSi for my B-Day. everything seems to be getting revamps in size lately...

Sakura Leic

Hmm does anyone have a good guess of when this will be out in the US?

What is this I don't even...

A FOURTH DS. That's ridiculous. I hope the resolution is improved; the larger touch screen would make some games easier, and others harder. For instance, you'd get a better result on "slider" games such as golf games or Bowser Punch-ing.

At least there's not iLL exclusive games.
...so far.

Say, if I wind up short on Club points one year, I could get this! :D

Dr. Wily II

Hmm... *huggles his DSLite for now*
Though... This new one does intrigue me...

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

There will be none.  The LL/XL is feature-wise identical to the regular DSi.  Same screen resolution, too.  The only difference is size, a fatty second stylus, better battery life, and some DSiWare pack-ins.

Huh, it looks pretty good despite having a bigger screen and not improving on the internal workings.

Still probably not going to get it, since it's basically a DSi for old people.

THEY COULDN'T DO THIS TO BEGIN WITH?

STM

Apparently it will cost $200+.

This is a horrible idea, considering the Wii is $200.

No. You see... Nintendo skips the experimental phase. Which saves them money. When people buy their products Nintendo reads the reviews about their hardware and then improve it, and people buy it again.

That's the Nintendo Money Circle.

Jericho

It's intelligent for them honestly since they make a great profit off of it, but in terms of getting the best deal as a consumer, forget about it. XD

I think at this rate though, I'll just wait it out for that hopeful DS2 announcement next year. [parasitic bomb] sounds uber.

In Japan. The Japanese prices converted to $s is usually higher than American prices. The PSPGo, for example, costs $249 in the US, and $280 in Japan. And the PSP 3000 costs $169 in America, but $185 in Japan.
