Could Shantae 2 really be Nintendo Power's big DSiWare reveal?

As we showed you guys last week, Nintendo Power is teasing a big DSiWare title to be revealed in their next issue. When I posted that story, I added my own two cents, stating that I wanted the title to be Shantae. Now take a look at what WayForward has updated their Twitter feed with...

Nintendo Power teasing a MAJOR DSiWare release in the next issue? AND it will make many gamers "very, very happy"? Hmmm.

Why on earth would WayForward do that if they weren't involved with the game?! It doesn't necessarily mean that this is Shantae, but there's definitely a good chance.

On top of that little tidbit, check out what WayForward has as their current Twitter icon. It was posted up on July 11th, but I'm still holding out hope.

I don't know if I can keep my fingers crossed until the next issue!

Now then, thoughts on the matter?

Frankly, this just makes me dislike the DSi even more, I just don't see the point of all its extra crap, I think I'll just stick to my good ol' "classic" DS.....unless Spirit Tracks is DSi exclusive, but I prefer not to buy a system just for a certain game.

Sparky's right. The only thing I've heard of so far regarding them is that they might be DSi enhanced.

Triple-confirmed as I remember reading about HG/SS Pal Park myself.

As for DSi-exclusives......good.  IF they come up with something worthwhile.  See, the DSi is not simply DS + cameras.  It is a more powerful system (double speed, 4x RAM).  But since Nintendo ninja-launched it with no warning, nobody actually knows that.  I doubt the first batch of exclusives will be anything to write home about, but either way, it's a start.

Eh, the only reason why I got my DSi is because my DS Lite's screen broke and I managed to get it in to Game Stop before it completely stopped being useful.

If they release some good DSi only games, great, if not, oh well.

Finally, games that will take advantage of the DSi's doubled CPU and quadrupled RAM when compared to the DS Lite.

Funny how people seem to forget that tidbit and focus more on the camera.
