What Anime are you Currently Watching?

Almost done with FMP Fumoffu. I'm surprised how funny it turned out to be, it's more creative than the comedy aspects of the main series.

Started two other anime: New Prince of Tennis, and Seitokai Yakuindomo (OVA).

Haven't seen the previous Prince of Tennis series in ages, but anime has a way of even making TENNIS a high-speed, action packed super sport. Seitokai Yakuindomo gave me quite a laugh, with the sheer amount of sex jokes and randomness, the OVA fairs no differently.

Watched Episode of Bardock not too long ago. It was pretty meh actually.

Also finished Ray the Animation. It was good when it was a medical drama, but when the Maximum Clonage business came to the forefront and there was no miracle surgery, it was not interesting at all.

Checking out Yokuwakaru Gendaimahou. Not too bad so far, even though the episode order was all over the place at first. And not like Haruhi. It was bouncing from one arc to another and back.

Princess Resurrection got a dub, which pisses me off cause I bought the sub only DVDs a year and a half ago figuring it would never get a dub at that point. Well, lesson learned, be patient. The dub ain't bad so far, on Epsiode 6. Not going to win anyone over, but I like simple but effective dubs.

Finally, I'm giving Canaan a rewatch.

Went through Wolf's Rain recently and am now going through Samurai Champloo.

Can't say I was impressed by the first episode, everything was predictable. And for some reason, they decided to make all the fighting scenes in CG. One would have hoped it could've looked something like this.

in fact, I'm as impressed with it as I was with that game.

Finished watching Another. It was alright, some episodes stood out more than others. The ending was a blood fest, and not creepy horror like I would have imagined. Overall, I did have a lot of fun watching it, despite the weird ending.

So other than my mountain pile of anime I've left unfinished, I'm planning on watching this show eventually. Guess I'll start with the prequel.

Anyway, I'm watching a bunch of different things this season; Lupin III, Space Bros, Zetman and Sakamichi no Apollon just to name a few.

Plus I'm still watching Gundam AGE, just watched the latest episode in fact.

And I already can't wait for next week's episode.

I laughed when I saw that, maybe because I knew it was coming months in advance from when I actually watched the episode.

I caught up on the series. If it weren't for the really cute designs of the characters, I think this anime would have been hard to swallow. Zombie-fetish? That is new to me.

So I was watching some dubbed FMA Brotherhood clips on YouTube, and realized how much superior it is to the original in everyway. Everyone sounds better, and the voices seem to fit better with the action (the links are spoilers, but they are the best examples I can give). Same goes for the first FMA anime, FUNimation is just that good with choosing voices.

I might have to rewatch the entire series dubbed.
